Alexa didn't say anything through the rest of breakfast. And when 8:45 rolled around she was already half-way out the door. "There's homemade ramen in the fridge if you get hungry! See you after work!" she called joyfully leaving Kenji alone in her giant apartment.

4:00 finally rolled around and she rushed out the door, back up the block to her apartment. "Kenji!" she called with a bright smile on her face.
