"Thank you." He said, licking her muzzle without thinking.

Kanti ducked her head shyly when Sanoskue licked her, surprised at the affectionate gesture, but happy nonetheless. Her tail wagged slightly, brushing over his.

Sanoskue blinked a bit, "S-sorry about that."

“Don’t be,” Kanti said softly, gently nuzzling his cheek. “You didn’t do anything to be sorry about.”

"Really? I'm glad then." He said nuzzling her back.

Kanti smiled gently. “What, did you really think it would bother me?” she teased lightly as she playfully licked his nose.

"Well...mabey a little." He said with a shy little smile.

“Heh, well it doesn’t. I actually…well, really like it,” she said softly as she licked his muzzle in return.

Sanoskue blinked again, then he grinned, "I-I've never felt this way towards anyone before..." He said truthfully.

“Oh? And what way is that?” Kanti asked softly as she shyly tucked her head beneath his, happy to be with him.

"I don't know...I guess it's just because you accept me for who I am and not what you expect of me."

Kanti nuzzled Sanoskue’s cheek and sighed softly. “I feel so close to you…it doesn’t seem like I’ve only known you for a few days, but my whole life…”

"I know the feeling...I really do." Sanoskue said softly.

Kanti gently covered Sanoskue’s paw with her own and sat silently for a moment. “Sanoskue,” she finally said, rather quietly. “This might sound crazy but…I’m falling in love with you.” As soon as she said it, Kanti stared intently at the floor, suddenly very shy.

Sanoskue blushed under his fur, then smiled and licked Kanti's muzzle, "And I you." he said gently.
