Of Mavericks and Hunters. -OPEN AND ACCEPTING-

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"But Dad..." Edge whined, slumping her posture as she pouted at her father.  

[Zahzi]

"In. The house." Hal replied, pointing at the door.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

Edge groaned as she reluctantly turned and walked towards the house, her posture still slumped.

"Can I at least check the block..?"  

[Zahzi]

Hal just gave her a dull stare.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"PLEASE." She begged, pouting her lower lip.

"I don't like Ginger and I know he did something around here. Just let me see and diffuse whatever he did and I'll come right back home."  

[Zahzi]

Hal continued to stare at Edge...  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"I promise to not go after him or anything! I just want to scope the block and make sure there's no sign of him or any of his work."  

[Zahzi]

"Do I need to inform Icarus of your pleading..?"  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Icarus doesn't need to know. I'll be fine! I swear." Edge whined, bouncing on her feet.

"I just need to make sure. For everyone."  

[Zahzi]

Hal gave a deep sigh.
"....One lap around the house. Then you're in for the night. Got it?"  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

Before Hal could even tell Edge she had to be in for the night, the Hunter had already taken off to patrol around the block, as she said she would.  

[Zahzi]

"I SAID THE HOUSE!" Hal barked.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"I am going around the house!" Edge replied, behind someone else's house. "I'm just going around some other houses too!"  

[Zahzi]

"OUR HOUSE!!"  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"What was that?" She called out with a mischievous smirk. She doubted she'd get away with the "I couldn't hear you" excuse. But if it worked to keep her outside a bit longer, then why not use it?
