a.k.a. Myth  " Don't worry. You will see them again." Dean replied softly. It would be nice he could get them reunited but the MRT isn't kind enough to just let them. When Cassandra came back he examined his hand. Felicia had actually done a good job with it. He could most likely heal this instantly if he used his power to call forth a divine item but he rarely did use his power to make things easier. " Yeah I doubt any of us had any future plans involving fighting others."

"Yeah," Cassie said noticing Dean's dark tone, so she tried to spin the situation more optimistically, "but now we have superpowers and huge shopping budgets. I know I could never have afforded my clothing collection before I got my powers. So, there are perks of this 'fighting others' thing. We're superheroes: isn't that what every comic book nerds dream? Of course, I wasn't a comic book nerd, but this situation isn't that bad, right?"
Smiling she twirled one of her curls on her finger and she continued, "On a more serious note, we need to figure out what we're doing about the parade in New York City that the MRD is throwing because I would bet every pair of glasses I own that the Brotherhood will want to crash that party..."

She paused outside the kitchen, hearing nothing private she entered carrying the shoes as Felicia wrapped Dean's hands. "Hey, I got the shoes," she said setting them on the counter. "They should be really comfortable. Back when I lived at home I wore the same type of shoe for training. Of course, back then I was training for soccer, not being an X-men..." she laughed, smiling with a shrug.

Felicia felt comforted in her teacher's words in regards to her parents. The fox girl just finished taking care of Myth when Cassie made her entrance presenting her with shoes. Felicia never owned a pair of new shoes especially as nice as the ones as Cassie brought. They weren't brand new but close enough. They'd be the newest she'd ever use so far. Normally the shoes she'd use were sandles or hand-me-downs.
Regardless her eyes sparkled as she took a look at them, The shoe was designed with some sort of arch support. Felicia and felt how soft and cushiony it was as she put them on. They seem to fit just right, with still enough room to wiggle her toes, though not feeling the ground under her feet did feel a little weird after not wearing shoes for so long.
"Thank you so much for letting me borrow them Cassie." she said with a smile.

"Borrow?" Cassie asked. "Pish-posh. It isn't like I can return them now that someone has worn them. And they are a bit too big on me. They are yours, now."
She smiled brightly at Felicia before turning her attention back to Myth. It really didn't strike her that the girl was probably not as well off as Cassie had been and was now. Cassie lived in an upper middle class home before she found out about her powers and now as an X-man she had a nearly unlimited shopping budget: to Cassie that was normal, she took it for granted for others it wasn't.
"Anyhow, about heading to the city, what's our plan on that?" Cassie prompted.

"Like Amp's?" Warp asked with a raised brow and a sigh. "Blink texted me to tell me you were planning on visiting him. You shouldn't be around him, much, though. The kid is bad news since he had his run in with my sister. Her power changes people..."
He frowned slightly before smiling, "So you were thinking about me? How sweet. I would like to say I was thinking about you, but honestly I was dealing with business matters, boring stuff really. Anyways, not that it is my business, but if you are trying to figure out how to use your powers wouldn't someone like Blink who is a teleporter be more helpful to go to than going to Amp? I mean, he does know a fair amount of things about powers due to the nature of his powers, but he is just a sixteen year old kid and is a bit emotionally unstable if you ask me."

my name is Shadow Walker Shadow Walker's eyes looked away as Warp told her that he knew that she was with Amp. She took note that if she wanted to see Amp, she would need to avoid Blink if possible. Either way she would need to learn how to use her power and Warp had a point who better to learn how to teleport than from another teleporter. That would take care part of learning how to use her power... but what of the manipulation? Blink couldn't teach her that... Amp? Warp maybe? That would have to wait until she got this teleporting first. She could escape from anything once she had that down. She bit her lip as Warp just merely referred to him as an unstable teenager. He is a lot more than that despite Warp's sister's influence. He still could think clearly outside of his obsession. She really wanted to defend him but couldn't find the words to. Instead she decided to explain why she visit Amp in the first place. She started looking down then looked into Warp's eyes, "I didn't initially go to him to learn my power... I went to him to learn to fight... but ... he thought learning how to teleport first was a better idea.". She looked down again almost ashamed for going to him in the first place.

Warp sighed: he cut Magneto short to deal with this? Of course, dealing with Brotherhood members was his responsibility, maybe Blink was smarter avoiding becoming a part of the Brotherhood. He ran his hand through his straight black hair, thinking. (His hair was his physical manifestation of his power: about a month after he found out about his powers his hair straightened and darkened from a much lighter brown. Blink would tease him that was why he liked girls who also had a physical change because of their powers).
Finally, he spoke up, "I can't blame you for going to him to learn to fight. He is a natural fighter and a more patient teacher than I ever would be. But, he is right, learning to teleport first is a better idea. Even though Amp was so skilled at fighting, he end up losing to my sister when he went one-on-one against her. The first thing about fighting is learning to pick your fight. It is stupid to fight a battle you aren't completely confident you can win." Even though he claimed to only fight battles he was completely confident in, that wasn't entirely the case. He had been up against the X-men enough times and truth be told he wasn't completely confident he could beat them, at least in a fair fight.
"Anyways," He continued, "Do you want to go back to Amp's and train with him. I'm sure you had to work out some deal to get him to be willing to help out a Brotherhood member. Probably some love sick message to my sister or whatever, right?"

my name is Shadow Walker Judging by Warp's response, it sounded like Amp done this sort of thing before, or perhaps the behavior of one that was under his sister's power had become more predictable. There was no use in denying it or arguing against it, she merely nodded and head out of Warp's apartment, he probably have some more important business to attend to anyway. As she stepped out, she figured that Amp may wonder where she ended up. Or, it would be nice if he did... at least. Before getting herself too down with thoughts of how Amp is so infatuated he was with Warp's sister and leaving herself to be invisible to him, she head down to his door and concentrated as she did before. Yet this time she started to fantasize how it would be nice if his eyes weren't clouded with that haze and to be in his arms. He was laying on the couch and she landed on him from the ceiling. Immediately her eyes grew wide, blushing she got herself off of him, "Sorry Amp! Sorry... I ... don't know what happened there....are you okay?... "

Amp had been laying on his futon reaching for his cell phone to probably text Blink to check up on Shadow Walker when he felt a thump hit him in the chest. As she got off him, Amp doubled over coughing, "Well, at least I know where you are now... may... maybe we should work on your entrances a little bit first."
Finally catching his breath, he sat up and took a calming breath realizing not only was he breathless from the sudden weight on him but slight embarrassment of having her on top of him even for that brief second. It struck him as odd that he could notice other girls even when he was so in love with Cassie, but there wasn't much he could do about it. He wasn't being unfaithful to Cassie in his book, he was just being human. Shadow Walker was pretty, not his taste exactly with those unnaturally green eyes, purple hair, and pointed ears, but she was pretty despite that.
"I'm fine," he said with a small smile. "Are you okay? I heard that if you have trouble keeping your mind clear and focused that teleporting can be hard... maybe that is the problem?"

"So that was where you went," Amp said. "I was wondering. I was actually about to ask Blink to go looking for you right before you showed up again. So you were thinking about him?" Under his breath he muttered, "You and seventy five percent of the other females here."
Glossing over his muttered statement he said with a joking smile, "Shadow Walker, you can't day dream about handsome homo-superior rebel leaders when you're training. Your teacher might not think you are serious. I will have you know I am the most sought after teacher for homo-superiors just learning to master their powers."
He laughed slightly at his own joke, "Okay, not really. Official story in Genosha is that I was killed by the MRD or something. They had fireworks for my body-less funeral if I remember correctly. Only, you, Blink, Warp, and Magneto know that I am still running around alive as far as I know. Anyways, are you up for more practice or do you want a break first?" He turned and headed towards the kitchen, "I have orange juice and apple juice and water. Oh, and lactose free milk thanks to Blink."

my name is Shadow Walker "Um... I don't think of Warp that way." she bit her lip preventing herself from saying something stupid. She wanted to point out that she thought of Amp that way but that wouldn't do anything. She found herself continuing in a different direction, "Although he may be good looking, I can't help but see him as a father figure or more like an older brother at least." "As for your funeral... I suppose we have that in common. Yet I'm willing to bet no one behind my funeral knows that I'm alive... Heh in a sense I guess we are like zombies..." she shrugged a little with a shy smile. It was silly of her to say that. " I've come to say that I think I need to train with Blink for a bit. Just until I have the basics down for teleporting... That is if that's alright... I'll come back here to learn to master it."

a.k.a. Myth Already wanted a plan huh? She sure didn't give him a lot of time to come up with one. " To be honest I haven't yet seen the layout of the area yet so I can't position anyone yet. But I am confident they have snipers around and a few MR teams on standby. Emma can keep a few of them under control if she really has. I do not believe that we can safely use the roofs due to the earlier mentioned snipers. Scott and Emma will be on one side of the street with you and me on the other side." Dean explained as he pictured it in his head. His gaze shifted towards Felicia. " Sorry but I am not including you yet. That will depend on how well you are able to fight when the time comes and if Scott and Emma agree on letting you come along. To be honest we could use you when are able" "I need to study the terrain before I can add anything else at the moment."

Amp raised a brow, surprised to find a girl who didn't find Warp attractive that way. He could almost see the attraction and he considered himself fairly straight. "That's good you don't see him as anything more. He plays around with too many girls. And, it'll make it easier to deal with Blink and him since they flirt constantly even though they deny it," Amp said, "Frankly, I'm surprised that was only a one night stand- or that is what the rumor is."
Shrugging he continued, "Speaking of our funerals, I would like to think we're a bit better looking than zombies. And less smelly... anyways... you said you wanted to train with Blink. I'll call her quick."
He dialed Blink's number when half way through the second ring as he held it out for Shadow Walker to take it was taken from Amp's hand, but by Blink who appeared in a snap between the two. Her pink hair was damp and she was wearing tight skinny jeans and a long form fitting white shirt. On her feet were tall boots. She smiled her pointy smile at Amp and then smiled at Shadow Walker, "Hey, kids, what's up? I was about to go out with a really cute guy who has super speed or something, in about oh-" she glanced at her watch, "thirteen minutes and fourteen seconds, so what's up? Don't worry, though, it's a third date, which may be a first for me, but like I said he is really cute. Anyhow, I am totally cool cancelling. He'll live if I think it is more important or work related, which you guys are technically. So what's up?"
Amp sighed and waved a hand towards Shadow Walker, allowing her to speak and explain the situation. After all, it was her who wanted to be trained by Blink.

Cassie nodded, "Good. Having a rough idea of what is going on always makes me feel more secure and gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling inside. Actually, I probably should take it easy, now, for my little contest with Felicia, because I about killed myself in the danger room an hour or two ago beating my record."
She pulled at one of her tangled curls and added, "And my hair is a mess. I probably am as sweaty as a pig... well, technically pigs don't sweat or not that much or something but you get the idea. I hate looking like a mess: my inner diva throws temper tantrums when it happens. Surely that happens for you, Mr. Nixon? Felicia?" Already expecting their head shakes she said, "No? Maybe it is just me. Oh, well.... Anyways... you still have more training for Felicia, Mr. Nixon? After all, I'm going to make sure landing one hit on me isn't a cake walk," She said and added with a too-innocent smile, "When I do something I like to go all out."
