"What's weirder than a man who speaks to no one, except a mute child and a man who has lost his mind, suddenly deciding to not only train but protect and actually care for this new woman like one of his own?"  

[Zahzi]

"Because the man she killed? Same man who tried having him executed and the father of the people he took down himself." Divinous told him.
"Common ground."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"And do either one of them even know they share this man?"  

[Zahzi]

"Krom has been informed, yes."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"And did he show interest or just grunt at it like everything else?"  

[Zahzi]

"The grunt." Divinious replied, bobbing his head.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"So in other words, he doesn't care." The gladiator grunted as well.

"There goes your shot."  

[Zahzi]

"No, no, no. He will come through. Have some patience!"  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"That grunt is his way of saying, 'I don't care!' He ain't coming through. So I'll go get the bug barrels, and make her work."  

[Zahzi]

"And when did YOU become such a Krom pro..?"  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"The man is simple! Anyone can become an expert of him."  

[Zahzi]

"Trust me, his buddy is much more simple than he is.."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Barely." The gladiator scoffed in reply.

"Crazy old man..." He muttered as he walked away.  

[Zahzi]

"...Why does everyone keep saying that..?" Divinious mumbled to himself.

The Next Day.

Krom stared at the transport cart that would take he and the rest of the Gladiators to the arena silently.

Atella was no where to be seen. She was still laying in her makeshift bed, reluctant to get out and participate in the day's events.
