Diamu shrugged. "It's kind of how we get money. Kuis and Vincot have been running low on discoveries so we do this once a month or less."

Reve made a face as she pulled on a knot. "You said one of them was a dirty liar?"

"Yeah. Kuis 'invented' it in his lab. He probably took one of Vincot's books and found it. He's a great guy and all. Super smart. But what an a*****e." Diamu laughed.

Reve frowned. "That's a terrible thing to say... Especially if that's his only way of making money!" She didnt exactly know their names yet, but everyone she'd met so far was nice enough to her.

Diamu laughed, rubbing the back of his head. "I guess you're right. Uncle Kuis is pretty great and all. he's just kind of egotistical and an old pervert. But that isn't saying much coming from me."

Reve laughed. "You? Egotistical? No!" She laughed.

Diamu laughed again. "Anyway, we need to head out very soon so I recommend you get ready quickly. Especially since Xexus dropped by earlier to check on you and requested you meet Shoto later this afternoon."

"Oh.." Reve's posture stiffened. Xexus was probably pissed at her for running away. She bit her lip. "What did he say?"

Diamu nodded. "Okay."He lifted his arms up beside him, smiling. "Pretend these are wings." He cleared his throat before speaking in a lower voice like Xexus. "I got your message, Diamu. Thank heavens she's okay." He moved his arms as if the wings were flapping. "And thank you for taking care of her. I, however, have something important to take care of." He started flapping his "wings" and went on his tip toes as if to fly away. "But oh, wait. Shoto needs to see her this afternoon. Anytime, really. Good bye, Diamu." He then lowered his arms, straightening up. "That's it." He said with a smile.

"He's not mad??" Reve held her hands together. She smiled at his wing impressions.

Diamu frowned. "Of course not. Why would he be?"

She stopped smiling. "Cause.. I ran away?? I made him worry..." She hung her head.

Diamu walked over, taking her face in his hands, making her look him in the eyes. Her eyes are pretty too.... "I told you yesterday. There's nothing to worry about." He smiled, giving her a kiss on the forehead for reassurment.

Reve blushed and squeezed her eyes shut. She wanted to put her head down again, but ended up just moving her head closer to his face. "I'm sorry.." She squeaked.

Diamu turned a light pink, only smiling again. "STop apologizing for everything. It's okay"

"Ahem."

Diamu turned around to see Quinn in the doorway with his arms crossed. He didn't look happy. Then again, he never does. "We have ten minutes until time to go.When you're...done...we'll be waiting...." He turned, storming out of the room.

Diamu dropped his hands from her face slowly, still looking at the doorway. "Whoops."
