Amelia jumped slightly when Adrian slammed down the laptop, but then her eyes shifted away as he gripped the chair in pain. She wasn't supposed to know about his heart, and even if she was she doubted Adrian would appreciate her commenting on it so she stood awkwardly until her held out his hand for the drive. “Next assignment?” Amelia repeated in surprise. He'd made it clear he didn't consider her part of the rebellion in their earlier conversation and by having Will supervise her, as lax as Will was about it. At best she was hoping he'd let her go back to her own house. At worst she thought he might keep her as a sort of prisoner here until Sybil fell. Another assignment hadn't crossed her mind at all. The virus was done and the rest of the plan he had laid out for her didn't seem to involve her talents. “I thought you only wanted me for the virus?”

"You're next assignment pertains to the virus. It's something only you can do." Adrian explained passively as he worked on the few remaining holes in the virus. He had yet to organize a strike team to reclaim the Hangar but the odds were that all of the Resistance would move in at once when the time came. Once they had the Hangar and the virus gave them control of some machines they would head directly for the tower. Adrian would have to remain behind for the attack on the Hangar but he would have a meeting point where he was picked up to attack the tower. "Sybil needs to find out about the virus and that means we need someone to leak the information. Sybil knows of our dislike towards each other and we can use that to our advantage."

“You want me to go back to Sybil?” Amelia said slowly, images of how Adrian's father had ended up fresh in her mind. The colour drained from her face. She had betrayed Sybil once, so it wouldn't accept some message slipped to one of it's machines. It would want to take her in. Sure Sybil had left her relatively unharmed the first time, but she wasn't convinced the machine would do so a second time. Not after the incident in the basement. “What makes you think Sybil knows about our arguments? What makes you think it will even believe me?” She'd been instructed not to question him unless she had a better idea, but being sent back into the arms of a homicidal robot wasn't something she would do lightly. “Is this really the only way to leak the information, or are you just looking for revenge?”

"Sybil will know because you will tell it." Adrian responded quietly as he worked. He didn't take even a slight moment to look up at her, nor did he stop his work to give any response that would seem genuine. "But you misunderstand, I am not sending you to the tower. I am sending you and three others to an unsecured location where you will attempt to persuade them to turn against me. You will bring up the virus and mention that it is being moved as you speak. Sybil will rush to attack the transport and you will be able to escape through the sewers again. Actually you best stay above ground. We have escaped through the sewers twice now and Sybil may have increased security down there. "

Amelia mumbled something unintelligible under her breath. Of course she misunderstood. When had they ever been on the same page about anything? "I'm sorry Adrian." It was only half genuine. Going to an unsecure location and making sure Sybil was eavesdropping on them wasn't much better than sending her straight into the arms of Sybil. Capture or death were still likely possibilities, but if he was sending others it meant it wasn't just a revenge mission. An olive twig if not an olive branch, not that she expected him to even acknowledge it. "You said only I can do it, but it seems to me anyone could go out there, pretend to hate you, pretend to try and recruit others and mention the virus." She had a thought as to why only she could do it, but as she was just reminded her assumptions were usually wrong so she kept it to herself this time.

"The difference is that they will be pretending to hate me. You won't." Adrian paused and looked away from the screen to meet Amelia's eyes. He only paused for a moment before he returned to typing the additions and edits to the code. "There is a certain passion in hatred that no one can fake, and I've seen it in you. Sybil will see it too."

"Maybe you are just projecting." Amelia commented. She sighed and ran a hand through her hair, biting off the rest of what she wanted to say. She was trying to play nice, but it wasn't easy. "You are right about one thing. If you really want Sybil to believe it needs to be genuine. Tell me where to go and where this transport is going to be, but don't tell the others about the plan. When you are ready start an argument with me. It'll need to be bad. I'll leave again. Give me a five minute head start and then send the others to bring me back, preferably with the instructions to bring me back alive since I am going to try to convince them to betray you and all." Hopefully the other three would catch on when she brought up the virus, explaining what they were pretending it did instead of what it really did. If they didn't they might leave her to Sybil when the machines descended on them. At least their reactions would be genuine. After all she didn't need them to agree with her to fool Sybil.

"To start an argument with you, I need to do little more than speak with you." Adrian mumbled slightly. At this point most of his focus was on the virus and patching any remaining issues. It was mostly review as the virus was complete and so it was tedious and boring. "You're going to go back to your house, undo whatever you've done to secure it and use the location. It is expendable. The ambush should occur here so you can let this location slip. By the time Sybil strikes only the bait team will be left inside. An associate will be bringing a van which the virus is to be transported in. The general idea is that Sybil will attack the van and not the base but we will be ready for either option."

“Fine, do you want a secret password if you think we can't go that long without arguing?” Amelia asked. They were doing alright for the moment, but then Adrian wasn't really paying attention to her. Part of her wanted to be annoyed, but part of her was thankful. She leaned against the wall and crossed her arms over her chest. “I didn't do anything to secure it. It was given to me by you guys.” It brought up that nagging question again, of why her? Why sacrifice himself to save her? Why had she been a secret from Adrian when apparently he knew everything else of his fathers dealings. “Anyway, you know where it is, you can unsecure it whenever you're ready.” She would lament the loss of all her tools and work there, but she doubted Adrian would care. He would probably get angry if she brought it up when they were so close to defeating Sybil.

"Look at our history, I know we will fight." Adrian passively affirmed. He was tired and couldn't focus on Amelia very much longer so he dismissed her to her room with a simple gesture. "You should get some rest now. Tomorrow the end begins." He wasn't wrong, one way or another the end began when the sun rose on them next. He would make the call, Sybil would take the bait or she would not. Then the transport would swing by the building and the team would be ambushed or they would not. Regardless, the rebels would move for the hangar.

Amelia gave a small sigh, holding back words about self fulling prophecies, and stood up properly instead of leaning against the wall. “Goodnight Adrian.” She turned to leave. Adrian was the one who needed to rest, her own part was relatively small. He needed to lead the assault on the Hanger and then the Tower tomorrow. Besides when she had left Will had been sleeping, which meant she could either sleep in the chair again or the floor, provided Will hadn't gotten up since she had left to speak with Adrian. She assumed Adrian wouldn't care though. She assumed he had wanted to get rid of her, rather than being concerned about her being rested for tomorrow. So without a word she headed back to the bedroom to see if Will was up, or if she would have to choose between the chair or the floor.

Amelia would find that Will was no longer in the bed yet he was not awake. Instead he slept rather peacefully beside the mattress implying he had rolled off. Clearly hitting the ground had not woken him and he had no problem with his current location. Adrian remained in the kitchen working.

Amelia laughed softly to herself at the site of Will sleeping on the floor. She briefly considered waking him up so he could get back into the bed, but he seemed comfortable enough in his current location. It'd be rude to wake him right? There may have also been a little bit of selfishness as well seeing as the bed was much more inviting than the floor or chair. Trying to be as quiet as possible, she closed the door behind her and crawled into the bed. She hadn't thought about it when she had suggested the idea to Adrian, but if he did go with her idea, Will would be upset that she had engaged in another fight with Adrian. Especially when she had said she would do better next time and not fight with him. Hopefully, as the only person who talked to her, he would forgive her once the truth was revealed. If Adrian even went with her idea. He hadn't confirmed of denied and could just as easily go with the original plan of telling the others it was all an act before hand. Despite these thoughts, it didn't take her very long to fall asleep.

When morning came it was Will who woke Amelia up. Adrian had already taken the steps to make her safe house vulnerable and the virus was complete. "If you want to take a shower you should go now, you have a ten minute window before Alex goes in for her shower." Will had created the window by rushing his shower but it also left him with little time to change so he had walked across the house with nothing more than a towel around his waist. He had however put some pants and a black and white flannel on before waking Amelia. "After breakfast Adrian wants us to meet in the living room for assignments." Everyone still needed to be given their assignments. Amelia knew her's but Adrian was going to assign the rest of the resistance their roles when they gathered in the living room after breakfast.

Amelia groaned softly as she stretched, before sitting up in the bed. "Thank you Will. I really appreciate it." It probably seemed overly thankful for telling her she could have a ten minute shower and Adrian would be giving them assignments after breakfast. She took what he said about the ten minutes seriously and quickly hopped out of bed and exited the room before he could say anything. She was feeling guilty about going back on her promise about not fighting with Adrian. Sure, Will would understand after the fact, but what would he think of her in the mean time? Amelia showered quickly and got dressed once again, the same clothes as yesterday. She hadn't expected to be staying here and so she had brought nothing with her. Still the shower felt nice and she had managed to beat the time limit Will had given her. Stepping out of the bathroom she went to join the others for breakfast.
