Hiyama growled as he heard Horrin’s response. Definitely not happy to hear what he was hearing. He should have torched him to ashes earlier! But now was not the time to dwell on the past. Now is the time to take these two down, and eliminate the large threat they are now presenting to this very realm. Horrin was willing to sacrifice anything to obtain the power he so desired. It was possible that he would have stepped all over Phelan if he had the chance. People like like that are the ones Hiyama will not tolerate within the walls of Maldria, and Dragon Castle.

His initial attack was deterred, Horrin using his new found abilities he gained from Elbrus. However, it seems he was not used to such power yet, as he seemed to have become severely weakened. Now would be his chance to finish him! “You will not get away!” He shouted as Horrin and Elbrus turned to flee. He swung his staff outward, pointing it at the pair before him. He sent the remainder of the tiny meteors right after them. The flames around him flared up, ready to propel himself towards the two. That is, until that female elf emerged in front of him. What was she thinking!? Had Hiyama not stopped, she would have been plowed over, knocked off the blood pillar she had used to reach up to his height. Because of this woman, he lost his focus for a moment too long. Long enough for the meteors to miss their target and fly right by Horrin and Elbrus and crashing into the ground beyond.

He growled again as she pleaded for him not to give chase. Before she could finish what she wanted to say, she seemed to have used up too much of her abilities, and would have fallen down had she not gone back down. He watched as she reached the ground below, attempting to recover from overexerting herself. Hiyama glanced back towards the direction of where Horrin and Elbrus were, seeing that they had gained quite a bit of distance now, appearing as a tiny dot in the sky now. It would take too much of his energy to give chase now. Not only that, but if he left the confines of Maldria, he would not be able to get aid from the Guardians if he ever needed it.

He slowly descended to where the others were, the flames still swirling around him, the staff in his hands dispersing into flames. He was furious with what had transpired. Furious at Horrin for siding with Elbrus, and furious at the elven woman that stopped him. He glanced over to Phelan as he tried showing concern for Caireiei. However, it was hard to determine what he was thinking, or how he was feeling. At least the boy has recovered now, and is able to stand. He then heard the sound of horses approaching, and turned to see the Vice Captain, Aliyah emerging, along with Jodan. A few soldiers had also arrived to the scene to check up on the situation. His eyes narrowed. “Elbrus has been released from his seal. And that damned warlock, Horrin Lambell, has chosen to form a pact with that demon.” He replied to Aliyah’s question.

Hiyama turned around to speak with the elven woman, only to find she had disappeared. His brows furrowed, the swirling flames becoming a bit more intense. She has gotten away again! Next time he sees her, he will definitely make sure she doesn’t get a chance to run away. He looked to Phelan, then to Aliyah, and then the few soldiers that had gathered. He pointed to one of them. “You there! Please escort Phelan to the medical wing! Make sure he is properly bathed and any remaining wounds are tended to!” He commanded to the soldier. He looked over to Phelan. “I am sure you have much to tell me about what has happened. That can wait till morning. You can submit a report to me when you have gotten your rest.”

With that, he turned to Aliyah. “And I expect a report about your trip to the White Hills from you in the morning as well, Vice Captain Aliyah. Also make sure the blonde boy sends in his own report as well.” He spoke firmly. “For now, I trust you are taking care of handling the damages and tending to people that may have gotten injured?” He questioned. Though he wasn’t going to wait for a response as he turned on his heel. “I have other matters that I must tend to now." The flames around him began to disperse as he attempted to calm his temper.

Jodan hovered beside Aliyah, finding themselves heading into chaos. People were panicking. He could feel the intense pressure in the air. So intense that he began to shudder. He glanced up as Hiyama had descended to the ground from the sky. Was he in some sort of battle just now? He couldn’t tell, but whatever it was, he did not seem very happy. He gulped. He has met with the elf several times before, and was aware he had a temper. Jodan had always been careful not to anger him. Seeing him in this mood made him shiver. Definitely someone you would not want to cross paths with, or become enemies with. He hid behind Aliyah a bit as he listened to Hiyama answer her question. “E-Elbrus?” He muttered in a low tone. He’s never heard of anyone of that name, but by Hiyama’s response, Elbrus was a demon. He wondered if Elbrus was powerful. And questioned why anyone would want to form a pact with a demon if he was as bad as Hiyama is making him sound.

He noticed an elven woman, someone he had never seen before, take off. Why would she do that? Is she in some sort of trouble? He wanted to go after her and check up on her, but he has no clue as to who she is. Is she a criminal and that’s why she’s fleeing? He’s already dealt with a lot already as it is, and dealing with another potential conflict did not sit right with him. Jodan jumped a bit when Hiyama told Aliyah about getting a report submitted in the morning, as well as one from him as well. He almost forgot that he had those herbs for that herbalist in the medical wing that he needs to deliver. Maybe he can follow the soldier and Phelan to the medical wing when they are ready to depart.

He had been so focused on the others, that he didn’t notice one other person in the vicinity until his eyes fell on her. It was Amara. Someone he was fairly acquainted with. Even someone he would consider as one of his few friends.

`·.¸¸.♡║Amara’s blood was beginning to boil with annoyance ‘What you saw, you will not speak of it to anyone else?! Excuse me?’ Her face was showing clear signs of annoyance. If she didn’t not want her display to be talked about then why show it so easily? They were perfectly capable of defending themselves against flying debris.‘You should say something instead of shouting it out in your head you coward’ Amara let out a soft groan “Not now.” She mumbled‘If I were you, I’d shout it out to the whole damn world about this freak’ the male voice in her head cackled ‘But you probably won’t. Cause you have your own freak show to hide. Her hands turned into balls of fists gripping tightly to her dagger. “She shouldn’t be so trusting,” her eyes seemed to glow as she watched Phelan going to her side, checking to see if she was okay. Her response was nothing flattering to say the least. Amara only shook her head and placed her dagger back in its place.

The sounds of hooves hitting the ground below broke her stare from the two. The first thing she noticed from the small troop was the captain’s vibrant locks of red. That distraction however was short lived as soon as she saw a familiar blonde descend from the sky, no the heavens. Quickly, Amara patted herself down ridding herself of any dust and unwanted particles before she looked back over to Jodan. In Amara’s eyes, he was beautiful and pure, he didn’t belong to this world. Before she knew it, she was running over to his side “Joooodan~!” The world around her disappeared as she clung to the man’s arm. The woman’s height reached just above his chin. Happiness overcame the irritation she held earlier, in fact, she forgot what she was so agitated about. She smiled as she dared to look up at his face. As soon as she did her smile was gone and she had released his arm to look him over. Someone had hurt him. Her anger rose up once again. “Y-You’re hurt? Who did this to you?!” Her eyes narrowed like daggers, dangerously searching the group he came with for a culprit.

Her eyes examined the other woman present- Amara, the one she presumed Phelan, and finally Hiyama, who decided to descend from the sky above, and finally join everyone. It was clear he wasn't in his right mind as all formalities were cut short, and straight to the point. She gripped her reigns to even hear the bastards name, Elbrus. Aliyah flinched her eyes as she stared at Hiyama's explanation on the event that took place just now. She blinked as he asked if she was taking care of the citizens. "Yes." She replied without a tone. She then waved her left hand, and dismissed a few of her foot solders to get reports on the other men she had dispatched earlier. He then retorted with a demand, one that she is to report to him of her own events.

Him? To him?! The nerve of this man! She is to report to her superior officer first and foremost, the very knight commander! The arbiter of her holy sanctum! To her patron! Praise it be! Gripping her reigns again, Aliyah let out a long sigh, releasing the pent up anger in order to calm herself. It would seem after he leave, certain people have forgotten their place, their rank! He is nothing but a secretary! A man who is to assist with keeping records, make appointments, and carry out similar tasks! He is NOT above military rank by any means. The nerve! She dare not say a word of his temperament. He may be of one of magic, but there will come a time should he dare cross her, which she will put him in his place. The fact that he acts out in such a behavior, and still has his job is astounding. The castle must really have low standards.

Feeling someone slightly hide behind her, really help snap her out of her bad funk, and she looked to Jordon. Honestly, he was like a child, so pure and innocent. It began to make her think if she had chosen to be a lady of the court like her father insisted rather than a Paladin of the army, what having a child would be like, if this is what it would be? "Your chambers will already be set up-" Before she could continue, the young lady, Amara chimed in with her adoration for the young man. But, as she questioned as to who roughed him up, and began glaring at her men. Aliyah made sure to make eye contact with a very fierce glare. She will not tolerate this behavior a second time. "I strongly advise to know your place young lady..." She spoke sharply in a cold tone. Now that she was back in confined walls, her role as a commanding officer, and lady of her royal family is now expected of her. Again, she looked back to Jordon but her cold tone remained the same, as well as her expression. "Your chambers are ready. Should you require my aid, I will be in my studies. Good day." And with that she dismissed herself.

:: Royal Court ::

After having dismounted her steed, leaving them at the stable, she was quickly escorted to the vast hall where her commanding officer, but not the knight commander, and was quickly asked for a report. As the doors closed behind her, she began relaying the information that had transpired. About the mysterious man, the level of threat he posed as, and how new the method of attacks were. She even added that there was one casualty, and blamed herself. Aliyah made it very clear that her actions were irrational, and against all protocols. The elders glanced over one another, murmuring before coming to a resolve. Looking back to the scarlet woman, they reached a verdict. She would keep her status as Vice captain, but will be punished severely with 50 lashings before their holy patron. Aliyah kept her head bowed at all times. Unlike the others, she knew her place, she knows the weight of her families name, and title. She knows the responsibilities that is forced on her regardless of rather she wants to or not, it is her duty to uphold them.

Being dismissed, the handmaidens escort her to the sanctum. It's a small room with a round well in the center filled with holy water, this was for baptizing infants. Behind the well was the statue of the god they prayed to. Here is where the maidens began to unbind her armor, and unclothe, leaving her bare in her shame. She is then chained at the neck, and wrists, forced to face the very holy icon she serves under. Behind, Aliyah hears the cracking of the whip. Taking in a deep breath, she holds in each yelp, to every lashing received, she will not shame her family, by giving in to pain, she will not disgrace them. As hours passed, Aliyah was finally released to her chambers, where she was dressed in her normal attire, and began finishing up her report, as well as any unfinished documents.

Just as she was finishing up her extended report with more details, her elbow knocked over a pile of records. "Tch." She turned in her seat, and bent forward to pick up the mess, only to see a peek of a name. Milo. Her right hand flinched before grabbing the singular paper containing the recruitment record. There wasn't much information on background, but more or less skill, and such. Leaning back in her chair, she stared at the name, her mind instantly went to their meeting. Almost on instinct, her left fingers lightly touched her lips. Another flashback to when she forced holy water into his mouth.....the feeling of how his lips meet with hers....how soft. She felt her body heat up, and quickly snapped back into reality. "What am I thinking!?" Aliyah slammed the paper on her desk, and finished cleaning up the mess before forcing herself to take a stand. She stomped her way to her balcony with her long crimson hair flowing loosely below her, just barely touching the ground. The moment she swung the balcony doors open, and felt the night air against her skin, she exhaled, and placed her hands on the gate to hold herself back from leaning to far forward. As the wind picked up with the night chill, her hair flowed elegantly in the wind, staring up at the moon, she used her right hand to hold her hair away from her face.

"Why does he invade my thoughts?........"
Was it because that was her first time.....kissing a man? But it wasn't really a kiss!!! She was trying to save his life!.....So than why!? Aliyah sighed heavily, lowering her head, sulking over how frustrating this was. Thinking back on their departure, she did feel a bit disappointed that he did not accompany her.......but had he, what would she be expecting? Again, the image of Milo appeared as she closed her eyes, his hands cupping the side of her face, the embrace.....the kiss- "ARAAAAGH!" She protested aloud. At this point, Aliyah decided it was best to retire back into her bed chambers, where hopefully sleep will do her good.

Hiding behind the brush, it would appear that no one really payed attention to her hiding spot, it really wouldn't be that hard to spot her if you just look, she wasn't really trying in the first place since she still wanted to be in earshot of everyone, and from the look of things, tension was in the air, something she really didn't like to be in the company of. She really hated doing all of this, but she felt it was the best choice even if it didn't make sense to anyone else. Once the red headed left, as well as the pink hair girl who ran over to a blonde boy, she watched Hiyama dismissed himself as well, and she quickly followed suit. She avoided contact with any on lookers until he was officially alone. Once she say a chance to intervene, she stepped out from the shadow, and in his sight once more. Her expression was a sad one, as she already anticipated the heat from this man, the very, and only one to acknowledge her...well....as her and not a criminal. "Listen....." She started out. "I know you are furious with me, but I have my reasons........" She was struggling to make sure not to step on his nerves any more, but was sure that she was failing miserably. "I didn't want to......I was afraid that....." She felt like she was chocking on her words. Cairalei held her hands close to her chest, afraid that it would burst out and run away. She figured he hated her by now, and she had messed up her chance, more over her trying to explain is just out of the question. Then again....she might as well stop running away, stop being afraid, and finally let this chase come to an end, she had wronged her people, cursed herself that she only NOW discovered that there might be some kind of connection to that demon Elbrus, why else would her body react the way it did upon meeting eye contact with him?! She wanted answers yet.....maybe turning herself in is a start, but she'll be beheaded!! Then again maybe he is rational to see her value? Her use? Taking in a deep breath, she loosed her grip on her own hand. "I am Cairalei Xilrel of the Daeleth tribe......originally I was to be their next keeper.......but then I found dark magic.......banished....I was soon thrown into slavery where they......where I......" She held herself and dared not to look at him, she was bare, exposed with her true self in front of the only person she thought best to be vulnerable. "I'm on the run because....I'm an escaped slave........if you deem my arrest now for this treason........I will obey.....should you wish to use me......I am at your mercy......" Slowly, she locked eyes with him before offering the ancient relic, the ring in which whispering the persons name can you find the other. "And should you need me if I am far, call my name.......and I am yours." This was her way of giving herself up to him. Now she let fate decide his response....Hopefully....he wont reject her.

Gurkiran listened to Ichka, quite entranced by her charismatic and charming attitude. It was a complete change of character compared to their encounter earlier within the bakery. Nevertheless, Gurkiran heeded Ichka's words and was quite content with the outcome of her statements. Although, he was very much surprised to hear that someone of her character would recognize the name of the Ranbir Tribe. His eyes widened in surprise and stepped a bit closer in her direction. "You recognize my markings? I understand that they are well known, but I would not think that someone of your..." He pauses, for he did not want to sound insulting by questioning the motives and intelligence of the vampire species. He continued, catching himself to not make himself look like an inconsiderate fool. "You just do not look like that would be interested in our culture. That is all." Perhaps it was not the best choice of words, but it was much more tame then what he was going to say: "Someone of your kind"

Gurkiran have heard stories and tales of vampires, but throughout his life, he has never encountered one. Undead are especially taboo in the natural way of life, and the people of the Wildlands see their existence as an insult to the living. Those who are dead should pass onto the next life, within the Far Plane or whatever afterlife said being believed in. However, despite this, Gurkiran has taken a liking to Ichka. Hearing her becoming more apologetic and sympathetic in her nature really gave Gurkiran a small connection with her, despite her undead nature. Aura users easily bond by reading the energies from others and playing off their feelings, but Gurkiran did not see the need. Although Ichka is not truly alive, Gurkiran can sense the radiance of humanity still left within her.

Gurkiran continued to engage in conversation with Ichka, and obliged to her call to follow in her wake. He nodded his head in agreement. "Sure, I trust you Ichka. Do not disappoint me, for I am an honorable man and I will do my best to reciprocate your faith in me." He said, as he readies himself for departure with a satisfied look on his face.

The young vampire smiled at Gurkiran. "Well...not just your markings... your way of being...your beliefs your skin tone... and the clothes you wear" the girl sighed listening to Gurkiran as she stretched. "I know your people don't like my kind...but I have been fortunate enough to find exceptions and for that....I am grateful" the years Ichka had lived had served its purpose and thus she had learned quite a lot about many cultures around her. There was a point where she had studied plenty of her enemies to learn of what she would need to make sure their downfall was eminent. "I'm glad you trust me Gurkiran, and I'm sure in time I shall return the same trust towards you Ichka smiles before heading in the direction of the potent and unique blood scent.

Ichka stopped at a scene where the smell of blood was most dominant. There was smoke coming from a near by vehicle. Her head tilted. She hoped what she sought hadn't killed themselves here. She observed the earth beneath her and knelt down at the sight of a silvery liquid. It wasn't much but she ran her fingers through the liquid and smelled it before tasting it. "Fresh..." Almost at an instant with that minimal amount she could feel her wound beginning to close. She turned to Gurkiran and smiled. "Lets try not to scare our guest" She followed the bloody trail towards the nearby vehicle. with the amount of blood lost and how long the trail was she figured the being was up and walking. As the trail ended she could hear a soft breathing, but could see nothing. Her smile widened and her voice softened. "Hello? Anyone out here?"

Phelan was taken aback by the elven woman's less than appreciative response to his offer of help. Surely this paranoia and rash judgement of hers came from her experience of performing dark arts like that of which she displayed before them. Phelan simply blinked at the elf before slowly turning to gauge how the other woman might have reacted. Before he could get his answer, he felt a hand clasp over his mouth, this resulted in Phelan releasing a muffled sound of surprise. His eyes darted around quickly as they tried to find who had him in their grasp until they landed on the elven woman once again who leaned up and demanded that he keep her presence a secret before bolting towards some rubble to hide behind.

Standing there all flustered, Phelan wondered what could possibly go wrong next. He swore he heard the whinny of a horse not too far from them, turning to look in that direction, a woman clad in ornate armor with red hair and stern eyes approached the group on her steed, a group of soldiers not far behind her. The woman locked eyes with Phelan and demanded he tell her what had transpired at this location. Phelan, feeling rather intimidated by the decorated-Templar could only stammer in his speech as he tried to give her an answer, "I-I w-was simp- simply r-repor-". Luckily Hiyama descended to the ground and managed to give the woman the information she requested.

Phelan watched as the woman whom Hiyama referred to as Aliyah turned to speak to a young man with blonde hair and piercing blue eyes before taking her own leave towards the castle grounds. Phelan simply nodded towards Hiyama as he suggested that Phelan should recover and write up a report in the morning. He looked to the soldier who began to guide him towards the medical wing and started to follow. Phelan wanted so desperately to say something, he decided if it wasn't said now he may never get the chance to in the morning. He spun around and bowed in Hiyama's direction, "Sir Aeros, I humbly request that whoever you dispatch to follow after Horrin that I may join them. I feel as if.. as if there was more I could have done to prevent this, I would wish nothing more than a chance to right that wrong. So.. please..". Phelan's voice cracked faintly towards the end, he clenched his eyes shut and awaited Hiyama's response.

The elf continued to his path into the Sanctuary, his footsteps echoing off the walls. He let out a frustrated sigh as he rubbed his temples. Just one headache after another. As soon as he finished his work, he will retire for the night, and perhaps he’ll find himself in a better mood in the morning. At least he would hope so. He stopped in his tracks, as that elven woman appeared before him. His eyebrow twitched in slight annoyance. “And here I thought I was going to have to find you.” Hiyama spoke out. She began to speak, though she appeared to be struggling to speak. She seemed vulnerable. He folded his hands together behind his back, eyeing her, waiting for her to speak some more when she was ready to.

She spoke again, introducing herself as Cairalei. And she began to explain who she was and what she had gone through up to this point. He closed his eyes for a moment after she had finished. “You finally answered my earlier question, huh?” He said, opening his eyes. “Cairailei Xilrel… That name does sound familiar. I’ve heard from various sources there was an elven woman on the run, for crimes using dark magic and being banished from her tribe as a result. That would explain why you seem to like fleeing so much.” His eyes bore into her, as she stared back him, then to the ring she held out to him. He deftly plucked the ring from her fingers and examined it. It definitely had magical properties, that’s for sure. From what he can determine, it seems he can use this to find her should he ever need to.

Hiyama’s eyes fell upon Cairalei again. He let out a sigh. “Given what you’ve done in the past, I should by all rights lock you up. However, what I’ve heard have been rumors. For now, I shall give you the benefit of the doubt and not do so. Your abilities seem useful for the sake of Maldria.” He paused for a moment. “If you prove that you intend to be a danger to this place, I will not hesitate to have you locked up.” He said firmly.

He then heard the voice of the young mage speak out to him, turning his head towards Phelan as he was bowing. His eyebrow raised, listening to his request. “Hmmmm” He pondered the question for a moment. “If you feel that you have the skills to take on Horrin and whatever he has planned, then that is for you to decide. However, perhaps… I shall put your skills to the test tomorrow, after you’ve gained enough rest.” Hiyama was certain Phelan is very capable of handling himself, though he has never been able to see what the young man is able to do.

As expected, she noticed him, and came running towards him. He nearly fell over when she hugged his arm. “A-Amara!” He exclaimed, blinking a few times as their eyes met for a moment. Then her smile fell away, and asked why he was hurt. He quickly looked away. “W-well… you see…” He stammered. Then Aliyah spoke up after noticing Amara glaring at each other person in the vicinity. He tensed a bit when the vice captain spoke coldly like that, and then she was off, heading to where she needed to be. “Ahh… ummmm…” He muttered, as he pulled away from Amara’s grasp and bowed a bit. “Th-thank you… f-for helping me earlier…” He said aloud. He wasn’t sure if she heard him or not, but he turned to Amara again with a nervous smile. Her previous question had still gone unanswered.

He let out a nervous chuckle. “Well… you see…” He spoke up again, scratching the back of his head. “I ran into a little bit of trouble with some stranger… I guess he wanted to sell some stuff in the black market or something? I think I remember him mentioning something like that?” He questioned. So much had happened during that fight, that it was hard to keep track of everything. “A-anyways… w-we managed to umm… beat that guy… Though…..” He paused for a long moment, eyes falling to the ground. His face grew depressing as he turned away a bit. “We… had one casualty… If… If I wasn’t so weak… maybe… I could have saved him…” He closed his eyes, clenching his fists in slight frustration.

Holding her hands close to her chest, her eyes shut tightly, awaiting for some form of punishment, though, it never came- Cairalei slowly opened her eyes, her sight landing on Hiyama, finding herself a bit dumbstruck. She loosened up, her posture straighten, as she listened to him, to his soothing voice. A smile crept on her lips, knowing that he would would not take her to authorities, but have her under his wing, and kept under surveillance. Should she cross him, she would be taken care of. Letting out a sigh of relief, the elf dropped her hands to her side, and took a quick step forward, ready to speak, but heard a voice behind Hiyama. She cut her voice, and listened to he familiar voice, who was known as Phelan from earlier. It was good to know that he was also determined to prove his worth to Hiyama as well.

Cairalei crept up to the left side of Hiyama, and looked to the boy up and down, was his eyes shut? Suppose she cant judge since she did the same thing. So, this is what it would look like? Adorable. It was good to hear Hiyama's voice again, approving the young man's request, just like how he did with her. Only, she plans to stay by his side at all times, like an underling being taught for the first time. Or, something of that sort. "See, it's not so hard being honest." She teased, making a retort from when they first met. "In fact, many women find it attractive." Cairalei stood proudly, as if hinting she was one of those women who do. Looking to Hiyama with almost love struck eyes, she lightly nudged him playfully before taking a step forward to the human male, and roughed-up his hair with her right hand. "So, with formalities out of the way, what now?" The elf spun around to face Hiyama again.

Gurkiran was kind of embarrassed towards the statement that Ichka made about his origins. He looked at her with a content smirk, trying his best not to give a slight chuckle. "It was that obvious, huh? Well, I am not trying to hide it, so I am not surprised. Maybe a wardrobe change is in order?" He responded with a humorous tone.

As they approached towards the destination Ichka was leading Gurkiran too, he began to sense an individual in distress. Gurkiran became numb towards the aura given off by the wildlife within the Wildlands, so anything out of place or foreign in these parts were completely self-evident. He heeded Ichka's advice of being cautious, but he can sense the life-force of the individual slowly draining. As he was meticulously treading the grounds beside Ichka, he turned towards her and said, "This being is dying. We need to tend to them." He stood up expeditiously and proceeded to look for this troubled creature. However, he could not see their presence. In an effort to look caring and concerned, Gurkiran began to slowly approach the source of the perturbed aura and spoke in soft tones. "Hello. I am Gurkiran and I am an inhabitant of these parts. I mean you no harm and wish to tend to your wounds. Please, I urge to reveal yourself." He stated, soothing his aura and dispatching it around him to let those nearby he is not hostile. He then crouches down in front of the source and pulled out bandages and other various medicines. "Here. Let me patch you up." He whispered softly, waiting to see if the being would accept his gracious offer.

`·.¸¸.♡║Even as she was being talked to by the red head her eyes remained the same “Someone needs to get off of their high horse,” she growled under her breath, but her attention returned back to Jodan as he bowed and thanked the fractious red-head for her help. ‘Guess I can’t completely dislike her if she helped him’ she thought to herself as she was listening to Jodan’s response to her question. He was in the wrong place at the wrong time, at least that’s what it sounded like. Her red eyes watched as his expression became pained. He looked away not able to face her as he talked about a casualty they had. Amara lightly scratched the back of her head, she wasn’t very good at sympathizing or emotional moments. She placed her right hand gently on his balled up left hand “Jodan. Don’t beat yourself for something that was out of your control and don’t go doubting your skills, in that moment you will falter,” she pulled her hand away and sighed“Probably not the right thing to say, but…” she looked back at the blonde man “At least you’re still here,” she smiled at him “And hey! If you really consider yourself weak than perhaps we should do some serious training! Let’s hike the tallest mountain, break boulders with our bare hands, dodge some explosive arrows, rumble with the hooligans at a back alley and we’ll nap and snack in-between,” she was expressing herself with her hands as she was talking, throwing punches in the air, before throwing her fist in the air.
