The Naumend Motel

Hearing Praline, Black replied," Morning, how did things go in the laundry?"

"Oh, it went just fine. A bit of a mess but it got taken care of nicely," Praline said. "Did you sleep well?" she asked as they got to the main office.  

[black_knightj]

"I slept well enough," said black, and then continued, "So how have things been going on in the motel, it seems kinda strange estalishment."

"Oh, I don't think this place is strange. But then again, I've been here for a very long time," Praline said as she opened the door and stepped into the main office.
"I'm glad you slept well," She smiled.

"Thank you ver much Ms. Praline, how did you sleep yourself?" asked black.

Praline closed the door and went to open the main office's front window.

"I slept okay..." she said after a moments hesitation.  

[black_knightj]

"Okay?" questioned black. "Why was it only ok?" he continued.  

[DarquePinkPaper]

"Uh...yeah."
Praline offered up one of her best smiles and wondered if Black needed anything.

"Black, can I help you with something? Maybe breakfast?"

He was quite hungry so he didn't see the point in arguing at the currnt point in time. " Sure I would love some breakfeast, do I go to the cafeteria?" said he.

"You totally do..." Praline trailed off.

She felt something shifting and that familiar tingle of something new. Once she had confirmation she told Black, "Just go to the cafeteria and Jonen will be able to help you out."

'Wow', Praline thought, 'a new person. I wonder who long he'll be here...'

"Jonen huh, ok," said black. An then thinking to himself, " I don't recal feeling or seeing another person in the motel besides Paper and Praline when I first got here, when did this perosn come?"

Black pondered on as he went to the cafeteria to see a person there. " Hi I'd like some breakfeast," he said.

Jonen was reading some German newsprint from 1982 when Black walked in.
Jonen folded the corner of the page he was reading and put it away under the counter.

"Well...hi there, stranger."

Jonen looked the young man up and down with his eyes and slouched letting his elbows touch down.

"For breakfast we have eggs, pretty much any way you want 'em, biscuits and sausage. So uh,...just tell me how you want your eggs and I'll get things to you in a little while," Jonen said not quite friendly but civil enough.

As he stood up straighter, he took his right index and middle finger and tapped his nametag.
"I'm Jonen."

With that he made his way into the kitchen and started making kitchen-ly noises.

"No eggs thank you, I dont eat them," he said, and then continued on, "Nice to meet you Jonen," thought he wasn't sure he really liked the man.

"No EGGS!" Jonen shouted from the kitchen.

"Nice to meet you too, boy who has given me no name," Jonen yelled softly.

"So, what do you have against eggs? Is it the whole, 'comes from a chicken's butt'-thing? 'Cause I don't think it comes from their butts."
