The spirit looked at Izil oddly, not reconizing him as a priest as the spirit knew them.
"Well if you wish for spiritual enlightenment we have the pool of revelations. It gained that name because of the reputation it had prior to the construction of the bath house...It will be 40 Zenny or the monetary equivalent."

((I cannot recall what money we decided on for Byako.)

The mans brown eyes seemed to brighten up as the ghost spoke of a pool much to his liking. Nodding to himself he poured over the money he held in his hand, counting out the coins that added to the required forty zenny for use of this pool. As he did so the priest rested his staff against his shoulder to free up both his hands. Taking those into his other hand Izil put the rest of what remained into the leather pouch once more, tying it closed tight. Taking his staff into his hand once more he looked up to the ghost and smiled, then hesitated to hand him the zenny.
"Um... Aheh, I hate to ask, but do I hand it to you?"
He said, his face flushing with embarrassment as the words escaped his mouth. Normally he wasn't this way, but new things usually made him a bit nervous.

((If we remember we can always come back and change it ~.^))

"Oh yes you may."
The ghostly attendant said. Pulling from its robe a strange cloth, it held it open atop its palms. The cloth itself was made from some sort of material that could be held like a physical object for the ghostly and otherwise.

"Come on, ye blind garden hose!

He gripped his axe in both hands, his arms bulging like ropes of muscle as the creature bore down on him, it's maw open wide to swallow him whole. With a mighty bellow, Nemo brought his axe down upon the creature's head with such force that it came to an abrupt halt, so quickly in fact that's it's body began to curl against it like a train does in a crash from the momentum.

"And this time, stay down you stubborn jackass!"

To emphasize his point, Nemo plunged his axe into the creature's head once more, splattering more goo upon himself and the ground. With a final exhale, the creature moved no more.

As soon as Nemo was sure the creature wouldn't move again, his shoulders slumped noticeably, blowing a long sigh as he began the sticky work of cleaning his axe.

"I'm getting too old for this, I tell ya..."

He continued to mumble as he went about clearing the mess from the lengthy battle.

Stepping forward to the ghost Izil put the money into the cloth that rested atop it's hand. Once he was rid of the money he took his staff in both hands and rested on it, putting his weight on the sturdy weapon as he waited to follow his host.

((Bah, bad. Sorry.))

With the monster now dead, the creatures remains began to rot at an alarming rate and suddenly the ground below Nemos feet began to sink from the absence of the large creature that dwelled beneath it as the strange being rappidly shriveled and rotted away to the size of a small rabbit.

----

Folding up the cloth, the spirit guided Izil through the spacious bath house. Passing other patrons and ghostly attendants. If Izil was to look into the rooms that they walked past he would notice a veriety of differing springs ranging wildly in appearance from a boiling pool in the middle of an ice filled room to a bath of almost acidic qualities.

Soon enough, the spirit stopped and lead Izil into one of the baths. The room had a sense of peace to it and the warm waters when he stepped inside would help to clear his mind and grant him peace.
"If you need anything just ring the bell." The attendant instructed.

(Its alright. Ive had moments like that.)

Izil bowed slightly then followed after his spiritual host, trying his best to be polite. As they passed by the different baths the priest tried not to let his eyes wander into the rooms, but occasionally he would steal a glance into a room but instantly return to looking back ahead of him. As they walked down the halls he tapped the butt of his staff against the floor with every other step, taking some kind of joy from hearding the familiar noise. Eventually however they came to the bath, and following his host in, found he became suddenly peaceful and even more calm then before.

Looking around the room he moved deeper into the bath, looking around at the walls as if they were going to give up the secret to their ways. It wasn't until the host spoke again that he remembered he was not yet alone. Stopping himself from moving the long fabrics fell into place around him and stopped moving as well as he looked to the ghost. Resting the butt of his staff firmly against the floor the priest smiled warmly.
"Yes of course. Thank you very much."
Izil said, folding his free arm across his belly and bowing, bending himself at the waist.

The spirit bowed and closed the door, leaving the priest to enjoy the bath in peace as the faint music from a flute could be heard in one of the nearby rooms.

a man walked up to the bath house. he stood about 6 1/2 feet tall. he wore simple carpenter pants that have been extended to fit him. on his torso, he had a plain shirt. it was either brown or black, you'd forget the moment you turned around, so it really didn't matter, he did however, wear an extra large army jacket. he needed it only for arms length, so it just hung loosely around him looking as if it were on a hook, with no one inside it. as for him, he had an almost generic looking face and pale skin. although it's hard to tell with the bits of what appears to be coal smudges covering him from head to toe. he was carrying a briefcase, and a back pack. both of which look as if they went through a rock filled dryer. his entire person looked very dry, and had zero smell. he walked up to the front desk, and tapped it to get someones attention.

With the lifeless creature dissolving, and taking the ground with it, Nemo scrambled to safety as the ground beneath him gave way. In the aftermath, a large hole had appeared, leading into the cavern Nemo had been in a short time ago. Scratching his head, he muttered curses as he made his way back to the bath house.

"Oy! We need someone out back, gotta put up some warning signs. Don't want nobody falling in the damned hole back there."

The door was opened by the ghostly bath attendant that had recently escorted the priest.
"Hello. How can I help you?" It asked politely.

As Nemo arrived, the attendant turned its attention to the dwarf.
"Would it be to much trouble to ask for your assistance in this matter? We are a bit to busy to handle the problem at the moment."

he looked at the ghostly attendant, and responded. "well, i'm actually here for employment. you see i have no where to go, and no 'real' education. however, i'm a good worker, and know how to fix a pipe, and read blueprints." he set down his suitcase, and rubbed his hands together.

The attendant thought about this some.
"Wait here." It said, disappearing into the bath house.
Half an hour passed before the apparition finally returned
"The mannager said you can have the job if you can repair the damaged pipes in the skylight baths. Do you consider yourself capable of doing that?"

PostPosted: Tue Jul 06, 2010 4:56 pm
he put his bag down, and pulled out his tool belt. "easy job. if i'm not back in 24hrs send a rescue team." he said jokingly. he head up the stairs to begin work.

Lead upstairs, he came upon a room brightly illuminated by natural sunlight and a large marble bath surrounded by healthy tropical plants.
"I will leave this to you." The Bath Attendant said, standing at the doorway.
Unlike the natural spring baths on the bottom floor, those on the upper levels needed the water to be piped up and for some reason this bath was no longer receiving water.
"Usually we hire a plumber to take care of these problems. So we will want to see if it is worth hiring our own professional."
