Owwin Orphie Sometimes that's all it takes is years to get drawing down. Only in the last couple months have I started to actually like my own art style. I can give you tips or something if you want. But I have been drawing for years and I am not much better than I was a few years ago. I don't have forever. Well, let me ask one simple question, first. How do you draw your lines? When you draw, do you do short sketchy lines to make your drawings, or do you use long lines?

You're going to improve MUCH faster if you use long flowing lines for EVERYTHING. So stop. Stop doing the short lines. You will improve at least five times faster if you stop it. So don't do it. Never. I never want to see you do that again. Ever. It may seem awkward at first, but trust me, you're not gonna get better if you don't use long lines. This is the one steadfast rule of art that I stick to. There aren't many rules of art, but this is one of them, and one of the lesser known ones. NO SHORT LINES.
