Adele stirred a little when he came in, but she was fast asleep.

Rue slept quietly for the night.

Adele woke early. She hadn't slept too well; she kept having strange nightmares. She looked around for Rue. When she found him sitting on the chair, she glanced at him to check for any injuries he had.

Rue had a pretty big wound on his head which had stopped bleeding overnight. He continued to sleep.

Adele saw the wound and got up. She found some water and a cloth and went over to Rue, trying to clean the wound off.

Rue instinctively flinched away in pain, which also woke him up. He looked at her in confusion.

"I'm sorry...." Adele said when he seemed to be in pain. "I'm cleaning your wound..."  

[UkyoKuonji2004]

"Wound...? Oh, right..." Rue said, remembering last night. He reached up to it and touched the area, "Ow!"

Adele gently pushed his hand down. "Hold still," she said. "I'm almost done, and then I'll put something on it to take away the pain and help it heal." She tried to continue cleaning the injury.

Rue flinched again as she bandaged him up.

Adele finished with the wound. "Are you hurt anywhere else?" she asked. She had a few bruises herself from being dragged down the stairs by the men, and a thin cut on her neck from the knife, but nothing else.

"I don't think so..." Rue said.

"Good," Adele said, sitting down on the bed. "I think we should probably head to Moonlil soon. What do you think?"

"Yeah," Rue said in agreement.

Adele nodded and stood up. She went to get all of her belongings, pulling on her boots and putting her weapons where they belonged. Then she grabbed a velvet cloak and pulled it on so it hid her sword and the knives on her belt.
