Nikoli didn't call her 'Two' to be condescending, it was simply standard tradecraft to call your partner 'Two'. If you called them 'One', then you let your targets know that there are only two of you there. By calling Aislin 'Two', the probability that there were more of them was higher.
He reaches into his backpack and takes out two small pouches.
"Sheep's Bladders, filled with a homebrewed explosive. Don't ask what I used forte glycerin- You don't want to know. Just plant it, light it, and run."
He turns back to Stephanie. "I'll do what I can- but I'm a shadowdancer- I can't make promises like that."

Stephanie cried out as her control was slipping again.

Aislin took the explosives like they were made of soap bubbles and took off down the hall. She lengthened her stride as the woman cried out, trying to make as much time as she could. She found the wall easy, and set the explosives next to them, then ran back for Nikoli.

Nikoli raises his crossbow and aims it Stephanie's head again. His hands are shaking, the muscles in his arms tense. What is wrong with me? I've done this hundreds of times...
"Ngh..."

Stephanie reached into her pocket, where she found a case. It had a syringe inside that also had some liquid in it. She opened the case with one hand and jabbed herself with the needle. She lifted it out of her thigh and jabbed again. She squeezed the piston until the liquid was emptied in her. She steadily started to pass out.

tess came in, an unconscience mayura over her shoulder god... she may be a noble but she sure isnt light! what does this girl eat? she thought

Nikoli slings his crossbow back over his shoulder. "Two, blow the wall! It's time to go!"

tess heard, and smiled. she immidiently dropped mayura and ran

Aislin tossed a spark bomb at bombs, quickly ducking and covering her head. She didn't get completely down before it exploded. Taking the wall down. Light streamed in from outside, "Two! We have a gap! Let's get out of here!"

mayura was slowly waking up, her senses blurry ugh... where am i? she thought as she stood up and walked on, looking for the way out

Nikoli rushes at the gap, grabbing Aislin's hand in case she had suffered any shock from the blast, and leads her out through the gap.
"Keep moving... we need to get back to the city."
