Zann had drew his katana from his back and activated his Seki-Reigan, when he felt a sudden jolt of pain in his left shoulder. It instantly became numb, and as he continued to run, he felt the numbness spread. It was then he realised that the needles were poisoned, possibly deadly. Furrowing his brows, he didn't stop in his headlong dash, and made some handseals,
"Kaze bunshin no jutsu (Wind clone)"
3 clones appeared beside him, and all of them activated their Seki-Reigans and zig-zagged towards Marquis. To him it appeared as if 21 Zanns were running at him, all in a blur. They approached Marquis and surrounded him, around, above and below him. All of them appeared to stab their swords at Marquis, though only 3 of them are real, there was virtually no way to tell the difference.
"Hida Sanga Bakuretsu (Secret Strike - Three-River Explosion)"

At that moment, Zann felt the numbness spread throughout his left arm, and the whole arm began to go limp...

((Oh shoot, I'm screwed...))

((since right now we are fighting on the side of a tree. this is going to be some tricky physics.))

marquis foot almost charges into Zann's blade, barely avoiding a foot impaling ,he re- positions himself receiving cuts on his legs and arms, Marquis twists himself and runs down Zann's blade, staying low he leans back so the palm of his hand is on Zann's blade. marquis legs whips outwards to catch Zann in the chin with a powerful kick, the only way he knows this is the real one, is by the distinctive smell Zann gives off in which those projections of himself and the wind clones do not.

"boy you really should go find a medical nin soon." marquis says while still freefaling the wind blinds him momentarily. he regains his focus enough to see his tree toppling over him and zann. Marquis makes a couple handseals his hand goes behind him and collects chakra into it spiralling into a sphere "Rasengan!" Marquis thrusts the blue chakra ball at zann's shoulder while he falls as the tree snaps an explosion of water erupts from within. the water rush's by Zann's ankles maybe throwing him off balance, as a huge current explodes outwards. turning the platue into a waterfall on all sides. it will self sustain itself and last forever if nobody tampers with it.

"your one hell of a fighter kid." marquis smiles down to zann as he lands over him with his sword drawn the blade lands inchs from inbetween zann eyes, marquis sheaths his blade He then reach's down extending his hand to help zann up. with his other hand he makes a handsign which detonates all the landmines that he planted earlier. a series of explosions go off around the training fields as marquis stands atop a strange waterfall with a fallen tree hanging over the plateau. "you know i really liked that puppet." marquis admits that nobody has ever managed to break one of his tree puppets down, and is quite impressed with Zann's performance.

"hmm that poison is really taking effect." Marquis takes his hand that was extended to help Zann up and reach's in his pocket grabbing a strange vial. Flipping off the top it reveals that it is a syringe. marquis jabs the syringe into zann "that won't completely cure you, you still need to go get that poison extracted, and yes this giant tree was once my puppet. I have a whole collection of different tree's this one being of the largest." picking zann up he places him on the log ontop of the waterfall. Marquis cleans his wounds with the water from the fall. then sits on the log next to Zann. smoking his kiseru he sighs, letting out smoke and lets the silence be his guide. letting the water tell its story, Marquis smiles. as he thinks deeply almost meditates about the spar he just had.

Susumu walks by the training grounds to check it out. She could of sworn she saw smoke or trees falling from over here. noticing an abnormality in the middle of the training fields. when did that waterfall get there? she ponders noticing a downed tree on the top, of the falls, the tree being so big it hangs down to the ground. and can be walked up using the tree climbing method of focusing chakra to the bottom of your feet. Susumu walks up the tree to notice Zann and Marquis hanging out on the top of the tree. Zann being badly injured. she kneels down and focus's her chakra.Quickly diagnosing him." Poisoned, broken bones, and severly cut and bruised, and slight but not to bad of a loss of blood". Keksuki Gyouko (Blood Coagulation), Zann's blood cogulates all his wounds stop bleeding. Hone Chiyu no jutsu (Bone Healer Skill)1st she repairs Zann's shoulder and any other broken bones he may have. next she focus's the green chakra in her hands. she puts her palm close to the water cleansing it completely. when she pulls her hand up a green waterball appears. putting her hand near his wounds, the ball thrusts itself into zann and makes any poison hidden in a certain area of him secrete to the surface where she can then collect it all using her superior chakra control.Jokyo Dokubutsu (Poison Removal) Sometime later all the poison had been removed from Zann..making a couple handsymbols. Chiyute no Jutsu (Healing Hands Technique) green chakra forms into her hands once again, as she runs her palms along Zann's wounds they begin to close up. the healing hands still in affect. Susumu places her hands near Marquis wounds, healing them. she notices Zann's chakra is returning and smiles. "did you guys really have to beat each other up this badly?"

Zann felt the pain receding from his shoulder, as well as all the strength returning to his limbs. He sat up on the log next to Marquis, and crossed his legs,
"Thanks a lot, Susumu-san. And, uh, it was just a spar, I couldn’t really beat him up, he's a lot stronger." Zann scratched the back of his neck in an embarrassed way, a habit of his. Gotta get stronger...my level right now isn’t enough...
