Orphie Owwin Allegro kath could you please hand me that glass it is half empty i need to pour it out on the floor That is silly, why would you do that? If somebody served me a glass half empty I would break the glass and rub their face in it. Now we just need to bomb a gaia server. Totally reasonable. That seems like an angry idea.

They look into it enough to find something that might be considered even mildly against the Terms of Service, and then they slap the banhammer on you. And even if they don't find anything incriminatory, they can ban you anyway if they see fit. My trading pass was disabled when I woke up and they're looking into my trade history. They obviously think I've been hacking or scamming, so I'm not getting any cooperation when I try to contact the mods..

Your case isn't viewed by every single moderator on Gaia. An individual is going to look at it and make a judgment call. Not every moderator is super strict, and not every moderator is lenient. The fact is, making assumptions won't help at all right now.

EDIT: @Cookie: I bought an Ancient Naginata at 1.5 million gold last night when it was retailing for 2.5 million gold, that's the only thing I can really think of; besides that I've been selling hoards. But catching a misprice isn't against the Terms of Service; it was suggested by the Q&A forum that the item may have been hacked, but even then, I don't see how it's my fault, it's not like I hacked it. I paid for it. confused

Judgment without a fair trial. Hm. I know this will sound stupid, but have you at least tried to contact the mods (or the mod that's looking at your record, if you know who he is)? EDIT: That's really odd. Don't the rules say that possession of a hacked item is illegal? If they're bastards, they might ban you for that technicality. If they're smart, they'll trace it back to the guy who listed it and investigate him.
