How about you don't try to classify a relationship? I know it's important to have a girlfriend or whatever, but dating is just a natural evolution of a romantic relationship between two people. As long as it happens organically (and the two individuals involved will dictate what that is without even trying), then it's worth it, no matter what you call it.
tl;dr TWU WUUUUUUV < two people who connect with each other and grow together.

When Warm it can be as soft and malleable as ordinary clay.
Shape-able. Shift-able. Versatile.
When Cold, it can be hard. to the point of being brittle, maybe.
Formed into the right shape can prove a point or just BONK.
Too Hot, and it may as well be water.
But imagine... being able to harness wax like this.
I know there's Mr. 3 of the Baroque Works from One Piece, but still...
