Core nodded, "We need to make a plan," He said, "I know this building like the back of my hand. Aislin was here before so she knows at least the major hallways and potential hiding places...Our numbers aren't enough to warrant us splitting up..."

"Is there anyway to tell how many people there are?" Chiasa asked.  

[Hiraru Sagara]

"If Gab were older, yes... Right now... Nothing I can think of." Aislin said.

"Gab whimpered from inside Core's shirt, "I wouldn't go anyway... I don't like this place at all!"

Core thought for another moment, then looked up, "I got it. I know of a place where the prisoners used to try to escape. It should still be there," he started walking again, around the Academy.

Chiasa chased after him, glancing around at where they were going.

Aislin stood and led Barick after them, "Where is this place?"

Aegina and Barick followed along quietly.

"It's a secret passageway that's built into the side of the mountain," Core said, "It leads to one of the cells in the quarantine chamber."

Chiasa nodded and stuck close to Core. She wanted to be near him in case something happened.  

[Hiraru Sagara]

"Okay..." Aislin said, sounding a little worried, "How likely are we to run into someone in the quarantine Chamber? Much less open the cell door?"

Gab moved in Core's coat, "I don't want you all to get sick..."

"Gab...Remember I used to work here," Core said under his breath, "I'm already 'sick'," He found the small boulder that was blocking the secret pathway. He shoved it a little to one side. He couldn't move it completely, but at least they could squeeze in one by one, "I know how to unlock the cages from inside," He said. Some sweat was starting to form on his skin. This place gave him the willies.

Chiasa gently took one of his hands in both of hers. She was trying to remind him that he wasn't alone here.

Pressed this close to Core, Gab was feel Core's nerves. He tightened his tail around Core's waist. "I'm scared..."

Aislin slipped her bag off one shoulder, and sucked in her gut to slip into the opening sideways. The bag came unstuck with a strong tug and a the sound of a few threads popping. At least there was no rip, "Stay calm Gab..." She said feeling his fraying nerves, "This is just like any other job. We need to be level headed, and diligent."

Aegina kept aware of the surrounding, incase they got ambushed. But as far as she could see, that was going to be unlikely.

Barick stayed close to Aislin.

Gab whimpered again and tightened his tail around Core.
