When did we talk about nuclear warfare?
I was just referring to the gun part.
Ah well. We all have our methods for getting the job done.
I just personally don't like firearms.
Eh, after looking at all the trouble that gun-toting troublemakers cause on the news, they just don't sit well with me in that sense.
But let's look at it another way.
Bringing a gun to a sword-fight... meh.
But bearing six-shooters on all sides, NOW we've got some good fightin'! Good and on the level.
Like in one o' those Metroid Games, the Hunters one.
...but that's why I said that.

It's one thing to TALK about wielding one around, looking badass, but how bout being on the receiving end of one, in everyday life, out of the blue?
Just imagine being confronted by someone with a gun. You'd fear for your life, yes?
You could run, but what if he got you in the back?
You COULD fight back, but you'd most likely be unarmed, and you could get hit before anything is attempted.
I know, PEOPLE kill people. But with something like a gun, that can happen in an instant, with a slim chance of fighting back. All it tkaes is them to aim right at you.
You'd have to hope the attacker was a lousy shot, or something like that.
It's a scary concept staring down a barrel.
Would you really want your life to be thrown away so casually like that?

I do see where T is coming from. Guns do make it a little too easy for people. They don't have to get close, they don't have to feel what they are doing, it makes it so much faster and more one sided when the aggressor is on a mission. I mean, you are sitting in your house and a guy with a knife walks in. I have things all around me that I could buy some time to escape with, but a guy with a gun? I wouldn't be able to get away, and I am not going to be able to do s**t about it. My life is over when he decides it is.
I didn't mean to start a whole conversation. I just wanted to use Budd's rock salt quote XD I like non lethal firearms.

-Shrug- Guns are just another tool of war. I know that someone can appear with one, and all of that stuff is true, but I don't see a reason to fear them at all times.
