Good morning everyone!

Normally when I make New Years Resolutions, I make them and then never think back on them again. Mostly because they aren't one I actively work on... or ones that I know I'll still be actively working on and its just a matter of Fate deciding whether I accomplish it or not.



But this time around I think I might pay more attention to seeing which resolutions I end up accomplishing... and how "accomplished" I make them. It would be interesting, especially with the ones I made for this year.

My New Year Resolutions:
- Get a paying job

- Go to more Cons

Originally I thought I would only be going to maybe one or two cons this year - Emerald City Comicon and possibly Kumoricon. Well, it looks like I'm already adding to the number of Cons I'm attending this year because I just received a ticket to go to the last day of Wizard World/Portland Comic Con which happens at the end of this month. Mom gets coupon offers through Local Amazon and they had a discount thing for buying a ticket to one of two days (out of three) of the event. Since my parents will be celebrating the day they met around then, we have plans that I'll go do my Con thing while they go celebrate their thing.

- Meet some of my favorite celebrities

Obviously there's the celebrities I'm planning on seeing at Emerald City, like Mark Sheppard, Jim Beaver, and Karl Urban. Well, at Portland Comic Con, I'll be seeing William Shatner (Star Trek - like he really needs an introduction, lol) and Summer Glau (Firefly) talking about their careers. Not sure how close I'll get to talk with them but just getting to see them in person will be cool. Unfortunately I won't be able to afford getting their autograph or picture with them. Gonna save money for the celebrities at Emerald City for that.

- Make another cosplay costume (or more - time and money allowing)

I'll update it as events occur and what not. Especially since some are still up in the air on whether it'll happen or not (i.e. whether I'm going to Kumoricon this year [hopefully yes] and which celebrities I'll meet [aside from the absolutely-must-see ones]).
