'Cause Bulbasaurs photosynthesize for their food, they don't eat anything. Think about it: no matter what a Bulbasaur ate, it would be a cannibal. gonk
 What about if it ate a charmander or something? That's not a plant. And it's a charmander not a bulbasaur. Because if that was cannibalism, that would be like saying that humans are cannibals for eating cows, or some other crazy PETA bullshit. Bulbasaur is half dinosaur and half plant. I think dragons are close enough to the dinosaur family for it to constitute cannibalism. Anything reptilian.
Maybe not if he ate a bird Pokemon though.
I still don't think it would count as cannibalism, because I always considered it to be when you eat one of your own species. Bulbasaur is now my favorite pokemon because of this discussion.

I thought cannibalism was based on genus, since larger species of fish eating smaller ones is considered cannibalism in zoology.
(Bulbasaur was always my favorite. xd That's why we're having this discussion.)

1. I am an enthusiastic amateur. 2. I always thought it was inside a species because that is the way it is usually defined when I see it. It isn't really a question of scientific theory. It falls under the category of classification.
