(You mean Core right?)

Core found where they needed to go and slowly moved the tile above them away, revealing a hole. The dim light from the chamber came in and lit the pathway dark red. The walls of the cavern were caked with blood.
Core looked back at the others and wondered which one wanted to go first.

(this is a good time Hiraru)

Aislin touched Core's shoulder stepping silently past him, "Protect yourself and Gab, understand?"

Gab shrunk against Core's back, shaking with fear, he didn't like these smells.

Core nodded. Aislin seemed to be the best candidate for going first, since she's better than Core in a fight, "Be careful," He said quietly and offered to help her up.  

[Hiraru Sagara]

Aislin and unsheathed a dagger, just shorter then her arm from wrist to elbow and grabbed the lip of the hole, She pulled herself up with just the strength of her hands and arms and peeked into the room, very quietly. Her legs meanwhile dangled three feet off the ground.

Gab was looking through her eyes, to tell the others what she saw, and when they could enter. His voice sounded like a mixture of the two when he spoke, "Wait until we give the signal... We don't want anyone coming up until we say."

Core nodded in agreement.
The room was seemingly devoid of life. Aislin would be inside a cage, like Core said.

Aislin lifted herself the rest of the way into the cage, and crept to the door, staying low, and moving slowly. She pressed herself to the door, listening for any voices.

"The cage is empty... We're checking the hall for anyone that might hear you unlocking the door..." Gab said, in a quiet voice.

Core nodded.

From the shadows, something shot at Aislin, aiming to knock her out. If it succeeded, she would be pulled into the shadows in the walls.

Gab yelped sharply, "Run!"

Aislin had time to turn and see the thing. She tried to raise her dagger, but she wasn't as fast as she once was. It hit her, and she hit the ground with more force then she should have considering how low to the ground she was. A trail of blood was left behind as she was dragged, non-fighting, into the shadows.

Chiasa had slipped herself in front of Core when Aislin had, but had not followed the other woman, until Gab yelled. Then she did run forward to try and see what had attacked her.

Core was scrambling to get out of the hole when Gab yelled. He looked out just in time to see Aislin get pulled into the wall completely, "Aislin!!"

(going to wait for Shoxie)

"We need to go!" Gab yelped, afraid, "We need to run now! They have Lin!" He screeched like something had hurt him, and reached up clawing at his fins, and head ridge. "TOO CLOSE!!! NO!!!!"

Barick panicked. "Aislin!" He shouted, then ran after her, pounding his hammer into the wall as hard as he could.

Aegina gasped and then stood in front of Core and Chiasa protectively, incase anything came for them.

"Barick DON'T!!!" Core yelled, but he was too late and the wall was broken through.
The piercing sound of a siren split the air. Core figured that he didn't even have to unlock the cage now that they will have a different exit once the dust clears.
Gab was right. They needed to go and now.
Before the dust even started to settle Core had ran to the wall. He jumped through the hole Barick made and went out into the hallway. He smashed open an emergency compartment that was built into the wall and pulled out a loaded tranquilizer gun. He wasn't thinking anymore. Just reacting.

Aislin was brought to a room in another side of the building. A woman with flaring red hair lifted Aislin up like she was a rag doll and put her on a table that was slightly angled. She started putting cuffs on her, "You're my ticket out of here..." She said to Aislin under her breath.  

[Hiraru Sagara]

Aislin's head had healed and she was coming around when the woman spoke but she was still extremely groggy. "Gab... " She mumbled weakly, "Get them out... Get Barick out..."

Gab made a new whimpering kind of noise, this one was apologitic, and sad, "Aislin says to make you leave."  

[Bullet_Ber]

Barick regretted knocking down the door once he saw that he couldn't save Aislin, and that the sirens souneded. He looked at Gab when he spoke. "NO! Tell Lin I'm not leaving without her! I'm taking her even if I have to tear this whole place down with my bare hands!" Barick said, hot tears running down his face.

Aegina followed behind Core, her sword ready in hand.
