The O.W.L.s: The World Is Yours

(My vacation week will be over tomorrow so I'll be able to post both more frequently and more plot related things. I apologize for the slow down you guys. xp )

Locke looked at Vincent and shook his head "I couldn't just leave you to fend for yourself, besides they saw me help you escape, and thats just as bad around here" He said. He smiled a bit "Besides we're friends right you can't just leave friends behind" He said. He didn't want to leave vincent he knew that he just spend his time worried something had happened to him.

"If they want sleep they need to get it now. I agree with moving ahead tonight as well." He knew that people needed their rest but the day was still young, if they needed to get some things ready now was the time, what little they had was precious. he looked towards Che and said. "So which rebel side do you want? I presume our groups are going to the different sides, so which one will it be?" He asked. He didn't care that Jeannie was standing close, he knew it meant nothing she wasn't the one who pulled him from his old ways, she's just the one who he had a secret contract with. He looked over as Sibal finally re-entered the room, looks like falling through a series of floors had left the biotic project kind of messy, dirt and dust covered his black fur. "Sibal go get cleaned up." He said with a small sigh. Sibal just nodded and proceeded to walk out of the front door.

Bailey had remained quiet throughout the entire meeting for she had no suggestions to contribute at the time. The outburst from Cecilia, which had happen earlier had left the timid Diclonius Owl's backside quite sore. Despite the fact that her vision was of importance, it was not on top of the list at the moment. She was relieved when they had finally gotten back on track. She listened silently as the teams were called. "Um....I could probably help with the defensive portion of this mission. My vectors should be able to hold the people back," she said in a small soft voice speaking for the first time during the meeting. Bailey then stood feeling that perhaps she should prepare herself for the mission. "If I'm not needed for anything at this time, I'm going to go ahead and get myself ready just in case we decide to leave tonight and so I can be prepared if we choose to leave tomorrow." Before she left, she directed her gaze towards Luca and spoke with a small smile and a light pink tinge upon her cheeks. "I'm glad that you made it out of Che's house safely. I was worried about you," she confessed. She did not see any harm in admitting such a thing in front of the others for it wasn't the same as confessing her love for him. Besides, she had only known him for a short amount of time. While she was quite fond of him, she couldn't say that she loved him. With a nod towards the others, she turned and left the meeting room.

Vincent looked at Locke and smiled. Either this kid was a saint or a real idiot. Vincent couldn't wrap his mind around it. He had never had friends, other than Amara and Amaya, everyone he knew was just older than him. "Well if you want to....um....thanks Locke" he said in a tone of confusion. "I guess I can try and get you back to your parents house" he said. "how far from here do you actually live?" he asked him.

"Well, it's up to all of you." Che said as he watched Bailey leave the room. He was going to assign her to Lucien's team, but she was gone before he could. Lucien's decision, Che hoped, would be reflected by everyone else. Personally, the bushy haired man wanted out of this war, but he knew it had to be fought. The quicker it could get done, they better they'd look to the government of the world...he hoped. "I'll take side that's pushing for the humans. You can take the sides that's pushing for the Owls. Oh, and I'll be taking Laharl. Someone inform him and Vincent that we're going on a nice little mission later on please?"

Locke smiled at Vincent and nodded "I know it sounds strange for me to want to stay here with you, but I mean if you can face so much I can at least make sure you are alright" He said. When he mentioned taking Locke home Locke frowned and sighed "We can't go there, I'm sorry...we just can't" He said. He looked at him "Maybe we should get you to safety I'll be fine after you get home" He said.

Vincent let out a deep sigh. Why didn't this kid understand? "Look it's admirable that you want to see me get to safety kid, but I'm not from here...we came here to fight...so as soon as I get to 'safety', I'll just have to go back into the line of fire, in fact I might be beeped in to meet with the team, so regardless if I get back to the base safely or not really doesn't matter" he told him. "If you insist on getting me back, we can go...but I'm just telling you it's pointless to worry about me" he said to him.

((TFP---Raven))

Raven watched as Soliel left the office via the smashed window and balcony. She turned on her heel and stepped past Timothy “Do stick around. I am sure you will enjoy the show.” She muttered in a deadpan tone of voice. Unlike Soliel, Raven was going to take the more traditional route out of the building. She skipped the lift and opted to sprint down the stairs. It was safe to assume that Catherine was very pissed off about the whole situation that was playing out in her city. “Hmph.” In less then five minutes, the deadly woman was in the streets of New Exire. Her keen blue eyes registered the numerous fighting going on all around. As armoured intruders approached her, she smiled…before blasting them away with a deadly shockwave. The impact was enough to shatter their bones.“Humans never learn.” She mused before setting off towards the heart of town…

((TFP---Serena))

Serena shook her head in annoyance as she lead the way back through the fire exit “Damn it, this is a crazy situation. Who were those guys?!” She stopped in her tracks as she heard the heavy footfalls of heavily armoured people heading in their direction. “Crap” She turned round and grabbed a hold of Kojiro “Shhh…” She cooed softly in his ear as she hugged him close to her before she turned them both invisible. A few seconds later around 20 intruders came stomping past heading for the roof. When they were out of sight, Serena let out a small sigh of relief before moving on, Koji was free but Serena had a hold of his hand. She was going to keep them both invisible for a moment longer “Any idea who these people are, Kojiro?” She asked, though she was a bit doubtful he would know anything about those who were attacking them. “We need to get outside…I have a feeling there are many more roaming the streets. But first, I need to get some more weapons.”

Serena lead them back to her room and locked the door behind them. She let go of Koji’s hand and dropped the vanishing act on herself. “Which ones…” The silver haired woman began racing around her hotel room and grabbed random items. On a few occasions she even reviled hidden compartments that housed some deadly looking explosives and expensive guns…Although the weapons were all different, one small detail remained the same, and that was the small rabbit logo. In fact, Serena had the same type of mark tattooed on the back of her neck. (Something she had not agreed to) “Lets get going kid.” Serena finally spoke while taking Kojiro by the hand once again. “I hope you are ready to fight. Our little training session has just gotten a lot more harder..”

Nova sent a series of magic enduced energy blasts at several soldiors sending them flying away off the roof they were sniping from. He then spotted raven making her way to the center of town and he decided to give her some support from the air as he flew down next to her his body glowing with the familier flight spell he was using. " Hey raven I will give you a hand from the air. If i fought with you on the ground i could get in the way of your attacks. Now lets show these intruders whos city there attacking and give them a pleasangt escort out. " said nova with a smirk. He knew that raven would know what he meant by pleasant escort out. Death was the only way many of these fools would be leaving this city now.

Thomas arose from his chair with a hacking cough. Whether it was to get everyone's attention or just a bit of negation on his throat, he still coughed a few more times before spitting right onto the floor. After a relieving snort, he pulled at his coat, fleecing it before turning towards the door. "Alrighty kids," the dark man began, "I'mma gonna go see what I can get myself into. Remember, I ain't on one of yer little backyard teams. If'n ya need me during the fight, just give a sign and bullets will be yer way, got it? I'll be seeing you all in a few hours."

Che, cocking an inquisitive brow, simply waved at Thomas as he left. When his back was turned, a middle finger was swiftly erected. "That guy...anyway, I think we have our basic teams so far. Later on, we'll regroup and go on with your plan Lucien, alright? Now, you all can go, but don't get too far from this area please, alright? The last time I lost Moli here, I almost didn't find him."

Cecilia glanced at Thomas with an expression of disgust as he let out a hacking cough. The fact that he spat right onto the floor did nothing to help her stomach. She hoped that he wouldn't make a habit out of that. Folding the blueprints, she placed them neatly into her purse and shouldered it before standing up. As the meeting appeared to be over, she felt no need to within the room any longer. Leaving the room, she headed towards the nearest female restroom, which was very much sanitary. Turning on the cold water, she slashed her slightly flushed face, allowing the water to drip and soak her bangs. The cool liquid felt wonderful against her skin and eased her nausea. She couldn't help, but wonder what would happen the next time she had her vision. It had not only affected her, but those around her as well. Was there a way she could control them? Or would they always be spontaneous? Wetting a brown paper towel with could water, she draped it over the back of her slender sapphire neck allowing bits of water to drip down her shirt covered back. She allowed the make-shift cloth to remain upon her skin for a few minutes until she removed it and threw it away. After washing her hands thoroughly, she left the restroom and went off in search of something to do before it was time to leave. She hoped that Roulin would return before then. After all, she had quite a few questions for him that she would refuse to give up on until she was given some answers.

Chris Shadowheart

Demios smiled enjoying Bun Bun's cheerful outlook at things. He was surprised to hear how long Bun Bun had been around. As he listened to Bun Bun he smiled, if he knew everyone Armand did then he could come in handy. Not to mention if Bun Bun was as good with electronics as Demios thought he was, then he could be useful in keeping an eye on the UNS. "So Bun Bun, what do you want to do?" Demios asked.

Bun Bun blinked as it continued to survey the outside world. "Ooohhh, let's go meet everybunny!" the robot chirped cheerfully. The rabbit made a ":3" and ">.<" happy face as it randomly burst into song. "It's a small world after all! It's a small world after all!"
