Peanut butter, carrots, wires and electrocution. :3

On the FIRST Mr. Ed, at least. After he died, they found kinder methods.

If you make that "AUH-UHUHUHUH!!" noise, reeeeally loud, in a train station... people will leave you alone. Laying on the ground and just LAUGHING helps, too.

... Yeah, my first trip to Chicago was nice. I didn't leave, so much as they kicked us out.

I am NOT pleased with the way animals are treated for the sake of entertainment, since you bring it up. They've mostly stopped deliberately harming animals for the sake of movies and television, but they aren't as careful as they should be, either. Rodeos depend on electric charges to get the bulls riled up, to say nothing of roping and throwing down calves, spurs for the ribs of the horses, and so on. Shows like Fear Factor, too, don't think twice about making people eat worms and insects live, or scream and jump and possibly step on snakes and rodents in their terror. I HATE that kind of thing.

Chicago? You were in Chicago? When?

Abusing animals for entertainment is sick. The song doesn't try to glorify it... it's more of a tribute to the madness of being stuck in a car with somebody for a week, and being WAY to comfortable with them.

"Where do you want to eat?"
"Did you know they stuck carrots up Mr. Ed's a** to make him talk?"
"..."
"..."
"I bet they do that to Ben Gibbard, too."
"After he's all sleepy after eating those orphans."
"Totally."

Yeah, Mister and I were in Chicago for Lollapalooza in August. :3

You know, now that you mention it, we're probably on the PETA hitlist for that song. xd

Oh, that's right! I remember that you were there, and I was envious because I really wanted to see Matisyahu. I vowed to go next time it was in a place I could get to.

Hi, Spacey. smile

Lollapalooza is going to be in Chicago for the next few years. If the line-up is as wonderful as it was this year, we'll go again. Best concert experience EVER.

Matisyahu was fantastic. I think he had the best message of all the bands-- Everybody was sort of gung-ho on the "anti-war, ******** Bush" thing, but he brought back the idea of peace rather than more stupidity. One of my favorite shows, no doubt.

Well, Shrike, next year let me know when you're arriving in town. Maybe we can meet up, you with your So and me with my SO. Have some coffee or something.

I really enjoy Matisyahu's message and music. He's a peaceful man, and he encourages peaceful tendencies in others, and I'm very proud of his success.

Hi, Boba! smile

Okay, gotta go to my meeting. Back later.
