It's only easy to counter IF you are inexperienced with the tonfa, most people don't think as i do when using the tonfa

and also, remember, if you stop the tonfa with that 2 handed claymore, i still have a fist.

That's why you use a katana with a Kodachi, thus sayeth Miyamoto Musashi. I mean the guy used a WOODEN PRACTICE SWORD for YEARS against REAL swords used by EXPERT swordsmen....just because he was too good...and he STILL didn't loose!!
