"It's not that bad I don't think," KoTari answered and started licking the blood from the wound.

"KoTari, change back to your human form so that I can assist your wounds." Makira said.

KoTari silently obeyed. His form became smaller until finally he was crouched on the ground in the middle of the clearing, still holding the gaping wound in his arm. Now he couldn't lick it so he was trying to slow the bleeding.

"Come on, let's go home. We'll get it fixed up there." She said as she pulled his uninjured arm to follow her.

KoTari growled under his breath when he was pulled, but he still followed.

Once they reached the house, Makira lead KoTari to the couch and went to get the medical kit.

KoTari moaned quietly in a feral way as he waited for Makira to come back.

Makira came back with the box. "Lay down on the couch and give me your arm." She ordered.

KoTari moaned again but didn't comply.

Makira looked at him. "I need to heal your wounds. I can't do that if you don't cooperate, KoTari." She told him.

KoTari hesitated, but slowly did as he was told this time. He looked to Makira when he was lied down and waited to see what she was going to do next.  

[Bullet_Ber]

Makira sighed. She wiped the blood off from his arm and wrapped a bandage around it. "There, better now?" She asked, smiling.

"...Much," KoTari answered and looked up at Makira. He never really noticed until now how cute she was.

Makira smiled. "Be a good dragon and stay here while I get some soup for you." She said and headed to the kitchen.

KoTari tried to relax a little as he waited for her to return. Time seemed to slow when she was gone.
