Ryuu growls glaring at Aku as if it was her fault,"The reason I was able to take her voice was because she learned them in childhood, along with the damn lullaby. If I go back now and take my voice then I'll lose the music." The music even now sounded, though it was very distant, yet strangely relaxing. Ryuu's eyes dull slightly as she instantly calms down. "She plays beautifully..." She mutters without knowing it as she stares into nothingness.
Aku touched her lips, still shocked at how she now spoke with Ryuu's voice. She glanced over to Ryuu, then raises an eyebrow. "Who played beautifully?" She questions, snapping Ryuu back into reality. "No one." Ryuu mutters shaking her head.

"Hmm I guess if you two agree, we will have to let it be for now. I guess this means that Aku has released her burden onto you Ryuu? That may be best, she has enough to deal with right now. What do you want to do now Aku? Let me know if I can help."

Aku shakes her head,"Oh...I'll be fine. Really.." She says awkwardly, still talking in Ryuu's voice. "This will be hard to get use to.." They both mutter in union. Ryuu chuckles, slightly amused.

Tarik smiles at Aku, "It is kind of funny hearing you two speak."
"It has been a long day for us all. Maybe we should take a little rest. There is time to figure out what we want to do next.It was a long journey from India to here, even by dragon. Let's freshen up. We can meet in a couple of hours in the garden for a light dinner then discuss what we want to do next.
You probably need some time to sort things out Aku, but don't worry. I will make sure you are taken care of."
Tarik gets up and goes to change from the Indian garb.
He sends a bird to Wrath. "Change of plans. Went to middle east fortress. On your way back check on Slayer since you are the only one who knows where you sent him. See if he can be saved. Bring your friend with you."

Aku nods,"Thank you again, Tarik." She says before he leaves. She glances to Ryuu only to see her leaving for her room. Aku shrugs, going off to her room. She changes then lies in her bed staring at the ceiling. Her eyes blur as she turns to her side, clutching her pillow as she forced herself not to cry. Death is beautiful, yet some are not ready for it yet. Nor the light that approaches, now blinding him.. She tightens her fists, debating how to deal with the situation.
Ryuu left her pouch on her bed, Tatsuko soon crawling out and lying on Ryuu's pillow. "Even though I have that damn meatbag's voice..I find it rather interesting. I could use this along with a potion of mine and turn into Aku, but what benefit does that have?" She sighs, changing as thinks out loud to herself. "Furthermore, this music seems to slowly tug at me..." She adds, lying her head on the pillow next to Tatsuko. The dragon simply coos at her, crawling on Ryuu's stomach then lies down looking up at her. Ryuu chuckles, simply petting Tatsuko, as she ignores the music for now.

Tarik had sent the bird in private to Wrath so that Aku would not see. He did not want to get her hopes up too soon without Wrath checking out the apparition's story. He also did not want to concern her with the affairs of her homeland.
Slayer's choice to take away the queen's ability to rule seemed unwise. She could have at least held the state together. And the hasty move of the warlord James to take the crown so soon was troubling since it tipped the news to their enemies and caused a civil war in a matter of hours. Then there was the distinct opportunity for a number of foes to strike including the Skurai, Ghengis Khan, and the Sultan of Egypt Al-Adil to top the list. He did not understand Slayer politics but it seemed risky for Slayer's friend and successor. To have the potential for so many to overthrow the slayers was not good for the kingdom. Tarik had checked and was told that James had already taken the crown and moved the capital before Slayer's death was even confirmed and the body cold.
He knew Aku was too stunned and distraught to deal with such heavy matters. He would tell her the news when Wrath came back with his findings.
He sits by the window to soak in some of the warm desert heat and naps.

Wrath reseves the message after he talks to his friend and writes back, "i will see what i can find in 2 days im geting new armor and a new upgrade for my sword and my freind also has an armor suit for you if you want it" Wrath sends the message and goes back into the volcano to work and tell his friend the news

Amiric shrugged slightly. We will have forces on our side to make sure the Shadow doesn't take this plane and remake it in it's own image, he said flatly.

"I guess we should go then." Sasori uses the vision supplied by Elaise of the place in India Tarik was going. She thinks of it and opens a portal. "I hope we are not too late."
Walking through, she sees she's in a small village.

elaise walked out behind acos and looked around before looking back at willow. " this is definately the place." she said softly as she looked around at them all.

Amiric followed after them, quickly followed by Roarke. His blue-violet eyes narrowed slightly. Humid and hot; not exactly my kind of preference, but hey, I trained for an extended time in the Aiel Waste, which is hotter than this, but it's a dry heat, he said softly.

Sasori walks into the village and starts wandering around the market, asking anyone had seen someone that looked like Tarik and Ryuu. One person said that a woman like Ryuu entered a building. She goes to the building and finds that everyone was killed but the man who did it was different from Tarik but just as scary.

Amiric's eyes flicked around as he followed Sasori. He couldn't put his finger on it, but something felt familiar around here somehow.

Sasori looks at the damage and says. "This was done by Slayer or Wrath I would guess. We must be close, this was not done very long ago. Too bad we were a little slow."
