Nintendo getting stupid. Link has always been left handed. Until stupid Wii port of Twilight Princess. They didn't have to mirror the character models too.

When they ported the Gamecube version of Twilight Princess to the Wii they mirrored everything in the game including the map and character models. Making Link right-handed and the mask Midna wears be backward.
