I'm not gonna be on here all weekend due to the school play and me staying at my friend's house. Chances are you won't see me until monday morning/sunday night.
BUT I might be on sparingly while I'm over there.

How much gold do you think will leave the economy because of Save Our Shops? burning_eyes I sense an ulterior motive here.. I said that exact same thing yesterday. Just ask everybody. It's cause for great concern. The marketplace already sucks up over 30m daily. With an event focused on spending money on the (beloved by most of Gaia) NPCs, we could lose hundreds of millions (or even billions!) in just a few days. I would suggest people holding onto items waiting for them to inflate liquidate their stock. If there is less money going around, money becomes worth more, and your items consequently become worth less. confused

The Rawk Hawk Just donated like 1000 gold. Not on that sign, I hope. You can spend 500 to get one of those. And I'm sorry, FireFOx was acting upp, I wanted to say this: -Zephyrotica- lol. So are they planning to pull them from the shops later? EDIT: @Owwin: D= And I had a stick awakened for you too!
I'm unsure, but Hash said that they're trying to remove excess gold from the system.
But I always gold was just automatically generated when we do something specific.
I mean in terms of posting, Booty Grabbing and such.
Then again, it is transferable between everyone...
Though it just generates out of nowhere, in minimal increments...
I'm... kinda getting confused.
So where does all the gold spent in NPC shops and the Arenas go then???

Not hoarding, they just piled up. And and the Hermit Cats, one of which I actually GOT in a Booty Grab.
...WOULD they still get rarer once everyone starts using theirs up?

So where does all the gold spent in NPC shops and the Arenas go then??? The gold created in little increments by random things, and they need to remove it with little things. Shops, Arenas, the 2% in the marketplace and everything else like that removes it. EDIT: The gold used making recipes.

But I would just LOVE to see those overpriced items like the Demon Cats, Mercury's Moon (which is just the same DAMN thing, but silver), and even the Blessing items to drop drastically in price.
I'd love it even MORE if I heard that this was Gaia's way of dealing with those asshat AI'ers.
Then again... some people may already be wise to this, and not cough up any gold at all.
