The three walked down the beaten path, they strolled by a group of mountains close to Lucifer's house.
Guardian's fort was further than it originally seemed. As they moved through a long valley, a group of murauders drove by them. Skidding to a stop at opposite ends of the valley in their strange vehicles, armed with turrents just above the headlights.
"Look what we have here!" One stepped out from their vehicle and approached the three, followed by several others, they surrounded the group in a wide circle. Each one wore light armor, some carrying swords, others had rifles strapped to their backs.
"Don't you know who owns this turf?"
"Nope!" Lucifer gladly answered.
"Well in that case, maybe we'll just beat our name into that dumb-"
"BLEEEP!" Lucifer shouted loudly over the curses of the murauders.
"Ohh, trying to cencor your kid huh?" one of them walked around them, leaning over to look at Sonia, who was clutching to her father's leg. "Well too bad she'll have to see her own blo-"
"Cover your eyes." Both Kagura and Lucifer commanded, both stabbing a blade through the man's neck.
"Now start sceaming at the top of your lungs." They continued, as Kagura pulled out her scythes, slicing two others in halves. Lucifer threwn his katana impaling another, then quickly dashed up to the dead standing man and yanked it out. Jumping back to her daughter's side to reflect a bullet.
"I'm ending this now!" He declared, dropping his sword and held his palm out.
"Satanic hellfires engulf these fools with the divine breath of Cerberous!"
"What the hell's he doing!?" One exclaimed, just before being decapitated by Kagura's curved blades.
"Corruption!" When he finished, his palm glew, he raised it to the sky and spears of flame shot out from the ground, piercing the murauders standing to close to his allies, as they coverged on the air above Lucifer's hand, and engulfed his hand. He then closed it and gave the group leader a devastating punch to the head, more spears flew out of the back of his skull, killing the rest and turning their corpses into ash.
"There, glad thats over." he sighed, bringing Sonia up onto his back.
"Alright, open up!" He said, with a fatherly smile on his face. Sonia slowly did so, as they were exiting the valley.
"I knew you guys could do it!" She cheered for them, throwing a fist into the air.

Eventually they reached the city, there was a drawbridge to enable access across the river that ran around three sides of the city, they crossed it with ease and entered the city.
"Huh... So this is the place..." Kagura walked out infront, looking around the town. None of the buildings passed three stories besides the hospital at the far end of town. It didn't really look like a city that the group had priveously run into.
There was a lack of vehicles roaming the dirt roads, but there was a garage, due to the map posted on a nearby billboard. Which led one to think that it wasn't a big method of transportation around here. The main road ran in a circle around the major districts, then shot out in a few roads leading in and out of the circle, there weren't many however.
"Well, if you need me I'll be at the sheriff's office, Sonia will be with me ok?"
"But Daddy! Its gonna be boring!" She complained.
"Hey, you never know, it might be interesting to you this time!"
"Alright, I understand, inorder to give a proper good bye, I'll meet you back here in a few hours." Kagura nodded and began to walk off.


Kagura found herself sitting in the park, thinking of where to begin the search.
"You'll find the tree in guardian's fort, you may even find the seed if you dig deep enough... What did that mean?" She asked herself, pulling out her bag and retrieved a drawing from it.
It depicted a demon with a cross burned into his shoulder, its face was hidden by a strange mask, one sleeve had been cut off of its shirt. Its right arm had been armored. I guess I'll go ask around for a man with a celtic cross burned onto his arm.and with that she stood up, beginning to go walk towards the fountain plaza.
