Chiasa pulled her hand back when Barick recovered and hugged Gab, tightly. her eyes were wide as she felt something unnatural coming from Core. She almost recognized it and that scared her. She didn't even move, since Core had made it clear before he didn't want her help, no matter how much she wanted to give it. So she sat there, not sure of what to do.

The little metal feathers returned to their suspended state behind Core as he swiped at Leonard again. He didn't have to see. He knew exactly where Leonard was. His muscles bulked up as he threw an incredibly powerful punch at the panels where he scratched.

Aislin's anger swelled, but she had no weapon to fight against a sword with. She charged Aegina, slipping under her elbow. She jumped grabbing the opening to an air vent just large enough for her to slip into and using her elbows and toes to propel herself moved as quickly as she could through the vent.

Gab shook harder as Lin got a little closer to him, and clung to Chiasa even as she disappeared into the vent.

Aegina stopped when Aislin slipped under her and she turned around just in time to see Aislin slip away. Seeing as she wasn't going to cause any more harm, Aegina ran back to Barick and Chiasa. She didn't want to bother chasing Aislin, since she knew it was no use.

Barick was dazed by what just happened. His sister had just chased away his lover who had just attempted to murder him. He felt so alone and confused. Without thinking, he followed the vent to see where it lead to.

Aegina followed Barick, just in case.

"...WHat should we do?" Chiasa asked Gab as the others left. "To Lin, or Core or...?"  

[Hiraru Sagara]

"I don't like being near her..." Gab whimpered, giving another shake, "I can still feel her, and it's stronger when she's close... Please don't make me get so close... It keeps reminding me it's not her... I feel like that cold person is going to take over me."

Aislin crawled through the vent, passing into different rooms, and then taking a left into a different area of the Academy. She dropped into a room, a good hundred yards away from the damaged room where she'd tried to kill that damned giant. It was strangely familiar, but she wasn't entirely sure where she was.

Sighing she decided it was best to get back to her employer and get her out of here. Silently she exited the room, covered in dirt from the vent and headed in the direction she thought would take her back to her to the room the red headed woman had been in. She felt strangely light with only her throwing daggers in on her, and an eating knife. She'd have to buy more when she could. Then she'd find that man again and make sure he stayed dead.

Leonard groaned, and the panels parted, getting knocked back. Leonard had done what he needed though, and stood, making a sword appear in his free hand, flexing his claw. he began to draw his panels in, past Core, and pulled in his wings, making his panels into the wing formation, then jumped back, tauntingly. even though Leonard was indecisive, he didnt want to damage the academy more than it was. he would try and lead core out, to outside.

Core gave chase. He had to make sure the others remain safe.

Chiasa stood up, still holding Gab. She was even more scared with Core moving away from her. She ran towards where he had gone, hoping, praying he was okay despite how she had fallen down on her duties.

Leonard grinned as Core followed, leaping back, then out, through the hall and doorway, to outside, ignored by Garoth, who was still digging over the main section of the facility. reaching the outside, Leonard spread his panels out, over the area, planting them in a strange formation around himself.

Without caring about what he was doing, Core went right at Leonard. He intended to tackle him to the ground and destroy his innards.

Leonard sidestepped, ducking the wings, spinning, coming around with a kick to the back, his composure coming back. this man would kill him if he didnt kill first. with that thought in mind, Leonard followed the kick up with a thrust of his sword.

Core spinned around when he was kicked in the back. As he did, his small metallic feathers dove at Leonard and his blade, deflecting it. He tried to rip out Leonard's innards again.

Chiasa cried out and sagged against the wall as she felt Core's injury. She grit her teeth and forced herself to get outside to where Core and Leonard were fighting. Her eyes glowed green as she got closer.

Leonard grinned, and charged his skin with his energy, making it impossible to grip him without blowing off the limb involved. long and mid range attacks were still an option though. Leonard brought a barrier up though to block Core nonetheless, before realizing there was someone following Core in the building. he showed no sign of the realization though.
