I'm not being picky, I just have my limits. Eventually, my brain says, "Okay, that's it, I can only ignore so many horribly stupid things before each one of those things gets to be beyond tolerance, which is what happened with RE4 and UC.
If I was to watch Degeneration, my brain would want to watch it as a part of the Resident Evil canon, and if my Resident Evil canon references either RE4 or UC, then that would acknowledge THOSE games as canon. And that's exactly what I'm trying to avoid.

Let's say, by some miracle, they reference no RE4 or UC at all in this movie. Alright... It still doesn't say much for RE5, Canas. Even if this movie is HALF decent, RE as a franchise is still dead.

i like how this movie takes place in between Re4 and re5 at least..

i never thought leon was that bad...he gets to much credit for being the most badass guy in RE. Chris redfield deserves that. which he will get his rep bak up in numba 5 biggrin i hope. and well i dont mind the movie being in CGI ...i dont like the real life movies much to way off storyline...and in CGI u can make anything freaky happen.

And no, Chris most certainly won't get his rep back in RE5. He's looking worse than RE4 Leon, and that's very hard to do. Capcom is taking its normal people and turning them into your typical American buff action hero. Chris isn't Chris anymore. crying

Well, I hear that Capcom is taking Chris and putting him in this weird-a** new game where he's this action hero and he punches five people back at once, and fights these flying parastie things. Oh, and all the black people he fights have tentacles in their mouths. Yeah, I don't like it either.
