The fire blasted the man setting him ablaze and Diz grinned. "Your time's up!" He said as the flailing giant staggered, quickly Diz spun on his heel and ducked down low and shunted himself forwards into the gut of the guard. The warm liquid gushed down the blade and over Diz' hand, the knife had scored the intended spot and severed the artery in the titan's groin. Diz moved back tearing the knife from the wound and moving back as he watched the man slowly fall to one knee. Diz wondered for a moment if the guard even knew what had just happened to him as he saw the man struggling to stay up. Finally he had collapsed to the ground face first, Diz waited until atleast one minute after the body had stopped moving before turning to the other. "Thanks for the help."

These guards aren't my concern. It's the bloody wizards in the tent. They're part of the calling. *Her voice almost a scowl as she spoke of the calling. She rose a brow a moment looking to the one before her. She wasn't sure but something felt off in him.* You're, not from around here are you? * She'd wait another moment before looking over the area unsure why he wasn't afraid of her.* We should go, this area will have more soldiers possibly soon and my fire is sure to catch someone's attention.

Diz intentionally avoided the question that had been sent his way, looking to the guard then back to the forest. His thermal vision was useless due to the flames in the surrounding area he could see heat spikes all around them. He silently cursed at himself as he knew it would be best not to try and switch his vision back to normal infront of this woman, friend or not it'd probably freak her out somewhat. He could feel that this woman had probably noticed something was odd about him but he just hoped she wouldn't be able to figure out exactly what it was. "I agree, we should leave here now." He replied and moved towards the trees and safety of the shadows.

*Inola looked to him still a moment then back at the camp. She wanted to help the last one but knew there was nothing they could do for her.* I need to find another who was helping the villagers escape from the guards. *She looked about the woods around them listening and trying to sense the magic about.* Then I need to figure out how to separate a calling stone without killing the one it's attached to.

Halek-Jeun slowed his pace as he made it to a cleared path, panting mostly from the pain from his injury. A light shock of pain shot up his right arm when he put weight on it, causing him to immediately lift it again and balance with his left arm and hind legs. His eyes squeezed shut as he clenched his jaw, trying to get over the pain so he could concentrate on finding Inola and Mika-Chuin. Dammit. There was too much blood in the air to track them down, and to make it worse, he was gradually losing his strength, almost as if that bullet was draining his energy. If he could find someone... anyone..... as long as he didn't pass out before anybody got to him. Taking a deep breath, the wolf guardian lifted his head and let out a howl, the noise echoing through the forests before the cry dwindled and quieted as Halek-Jeun slipped to the ground and blacked out.

Mika-Chuin paused in her tracks ahead of the prisoners as she took a moment to survey their surroundings. Sniffing the air, she could only find the scent of blood in the air and those of the people she guided along through the forests. The woods hadn't changed much in ten years, for she still recognized much of it from having grown up in them. Her ears stood up as she heard a howl, and she turned. "Halek," she whispered, recognizing the call. Immediately, she rushed off to find her brother, the prisoners at her heels. She would still be able to watch after them with her brother. The only thing she was worried about was if there was time left to help him.

*Inola would turn her attentions a moment to something she thought she had heard.* I need to go, there is one I was looking after, she was helping the villagers, but that sounded like it could have been from her. *She then turned in the direction she had heard the noise wondering if Mika was all right. She made a note to pass quietly by the wizard tent shaking her head at how oblivious they were to their guards, as well as the sight of the girl at the stone cage knowing there was little to nothing she could do to help her at the moment. Once past it she looked about seeing no sign of mika or the villagers.* I swear I heard the cry in this decision..

This place gets wierder and wierder by the moment. Diz thought to himself as he watched to girl leave just as quickly as she had appeared. He slumped against a tree as he prodded and poked at his rib cage. There didn't seem to be any real damage to the metal ribs or the bone ones. He shuffled about for a moment before sitting cross-legged on the floor watching the surroundings, finally after he determind that it was clear he removed the skin from his arm and began to remove his thermal vision from his sight.

Rayna sat in her cage hearing the goings of the area and smiled knowing the new group of strangers would help her people. She turned feeling a sting at her arm to see a new wound and turned to see the wizard she was bound to. "Too late, they all escaped."
"So they have, all but you and your now imprisoned cat. Don't get your hopes up child. You're stuck with me till your death." He said hearing her snide comments. He made another cut at his arm though no wound would appear. A slight recognition of pain sounding from the girl though still brought a smile to him. He always hated this child. Now with her aunts called to war, and the calling stone in place, she was his to torture till he had no more use of her. "Don't worry little Ray, you'll be with me for a long time to come. Plenty of time for you to learn your place among the mages."
One of the four wizards would take note of things going on outside of the tent and shake his head. His robes of blue and gray flowing loosely in the slight breeze. He watched a moment in disgust as the head of the group toyed with his new bondling. He himself may not have cared either way, though if bound would not treat one as such. He pretended to go out as if to stop all the recent problems though would simply move about tracking the other of technology he had sensed earlier. It wouldn't take long seeing a man moving part of his flesh. He would rais a hand slightly to show he wasn't there for fighting. "I have a proposition for you techie. If you are interested, I can allow you to live. If not, you'll find me a harder target then that of these guards."

Mika-Chuin stopped along the trail, several paces in front of the escapees. Lowering herself to the ground, she looked for signs of unnatural disturbance: footprints, anywhere the ground had been changed in any way... Nothing where she stood. She moved herself a few paces forward to examine the ground again, staying on her toes as she kept herself balanced on her fingers. There.... She recognized the oversized paw-prints of her brother. He was running this way, as seen from the direction, and the distance between the other tracks in his trail. As she looked closer, she noticed that one paw-print was shallower than the other three in his gait. Was he limping? That wasn't good. She had to hurry.
The rustling of leaves off the trail caught her attention as she looked up from the tracks. "Inola-chaa," she called out, recognizing the person's scent as the breeze swept passed her. She hopped to her feet and started off down the trail, stopping when she saw Inola. "Ga hosiige Halek-Jeun na iundaeta! Paakia te!"* Raising her hand, she pointed down the trail she was following before immediately taking off, her sandals tapping against the dirt and gravel under her feet as she ran. Even if she wasn't speaking in an understandable tongue, she was hoping that the woman would at least catch her brother's name in her sentence.
*"Halek-Jeun's been injured. We must get to him."

Diz had heard the wizards footsteps. He seemingly ignored the wizards proposal for a few moments as he continued tinkering around with his arm. Once he had finished and returned his eyesight to normal he looked up at the wizard blankly and gave off a slight grunt. "Pfft! You mages are all the same... Overconfident until you die." The remark came out almost as if he were challenging this wizard to try to take him out. "I am curious though as to why YOU would help me out though..." Diz paused and looked over the wizard before continuing. "I'll listen to your proposition, mage. After all it's not every day I get to converse with one such as yourself." He motioned for the wizard to elaborate on his proposition staring directly into the wizards eyes.

*Inola would stop short hearing Mika and nodded as she heard her name in some variation. Though would look puzzled as Mika began speaking quickly in a language she didn't know. She watched the girl take off and followed along quickly.* The only word I think I understood out of that mess was Halek. I thought I heard a howl in the area. *She said trying to keep pace with the girl and noting the villagers as well. There weren't many but enough in her mind to try and keep safe. She looked back now and then noting the other she had been fighting alongside wasn't there and hoped he made it to a safe place despite the off feeling she had had of him. But like the thoughts of the one prisoner they couldn't free, it would have to wait.*
The wizard ignored the words from the other on how tough he seemed to be. He knew his strengths and weaknesses well enough. But that wasn't the topic at hand. "I am not helping you. I wish to help the bondling. Though I am not opposed to the calling, I am opposed to treating one like they were nothing more then a toy or something to torment. They do a great service taking our places on the battlefield and should be honored for such and not tortured. She's a traitor to our people for consorting with techies, knowingly or not. Once she knew she still chose to hide one. Normal punishment is death or banishment to let your people deal with them." He would pause allowing that much to filter into the the techie's mind before he would continue. "I'm basically going to stop both of their hearts. This is very time sensitive. Once I've done so we have to wait at least one minute before the other is killed. Otherwise the calling stone attached to the girl will kill her in his stead. Obviously I am not allowed to do such acts so you will need help in keeping the others of our group occupied. I sense there was a fire-witch nearby. Rare now-a-days, but beneficial all the same. and whoever else I sensed helping the villagers." He knew he hadn't given any specific details but would wait for the offer to be accepted or not before doing more then he had.

Diz looked a little lost in thought as the wizard offered up enough information to keep him interested. "You aren't like any of the other wizards I've met before..." He mumbled almost to himself while at the same time he knew what these guys were capable of after all he was living proof. Although he didn't want to put his trust into this mage he also knew that it would be the only way he could help the girl. "You have a deal." He finally said out loud and rose to his feet and held out a hand to shake on the deal. "Don't get me wrong here, I don't trust you but I do believe you will keep your word."

He stepped closer to accept the shake and would nod. "While I don't agree with my own plan. I agree less with this one particular wizard's ways. He gives us a bad name even among our own kind. And that is simply unacceptable. But in order to pull it off you will need help from those possibly helping the villagers. I don't recommend telling them of what you are. I can supply the magic needed for now to show you as one of our own." He would give a light nod knowing he would have to call a retreat once the other was killed. He also hoped the other people could handle a fight with high wizards. "Once he is gone, I can call a retreat for re-grouping. You will then have less than a few hours to be scarce of this area." He said once more. "Just say close to the edge. There will be a sign as to when to move on these plans. And I do hope you're good enough to stand up to the wizard for a short time at least."

Mika-Chuin sprinted as fast as her legs could carry her, but she felt she wasn't getting across the forest fast enough. Her bright red eyes glowed softly as she subconsciously reached out to the enchanted forest, letting the trees read her intentions. Some way ahead of her, two trees reached adjacent branches down to the ground, waiting for her to land there, before they both tossed her through the air to where the large mass of black fur lie. She landed easily on her feet a few yards away before continuing to his side. "Halek," she said, lightly touching his muzzle. There was no response, but he was still breathing. She could feel his energy slipping away, but what was causing it to happen?
