Anubis shrugged. "When ancient Egypt was a kingdom? That's still over a few thousand years ago."

Aud sighed. "Ok, fine. You could be a demon or a vampire though too to survive for a while." She said, not really sure why they were discussing this.

Anubis shrugged. "Alright then." He said, trying to end that specific conversation.

Aud nodded. "Mmhmm..." She mumbled, returning to poking the uneaten pineapple with her fork.

Anubis looked at the pineapple, actually not noticing that she hadn't eaten it. He didn't care too much, mostly because she probably just wasn't hungry.

Aud glanced up, seeing him looking at her pineapple. "Um...Do you want something...?" she asked, not really sure what to say.

Anubis blinked and looked at her again. "Oh, sorry, just staring into space."

Aud nodded. "Oh. Okay then." She looked down at the pineapple again. Still not feeling like eating, she pushed it slightly away.

Anubis nodded slightly. "I'll pay." Not that it was going to cost much, but he was still trying to be a little bit polite.

Aud blinked, registering what he had said into her head. "Um...Okay..." she said after a few seconds.

Anubis pulled a single gold coin out of his pocket. "Old Egyptian money, cool." he mumbled to himself, a little surprised that he just randomly had ancient gold coins.

Aud nodded again, the shine of the small coin catching hr eye. She stared ar it for a moment, glancing back to Anubis. "I'm used to pounds or dollars...What's that?"

Kia walked into the diner and sat down
she sighed and turned into a raven
and cawed

Anubis blinked like he was being taken out of a trance. "Oh, It's old Egyptian money." He said, holding it out for her.

Aud took it lightly, looking down at it in her hands. "Woah..it's cool looking..." she said with a slight smile, glancing over to the raven. She grinned, as she had never seen another raven before. Aud turned back to Anubis with the coin, handing it back to him. "What's it made out of?"
