He'd forgotten that he'd left the bedroom door open. He shook his head. "Nothing," he said. He felt a tap on the door behind him and tapped back. He kept his eyes on Setsuko.❞

Go away. Why are you bothering me? ☠Ȼhaos☠ ❝He thought about lying, or telling her that it was nothing again, but ruled those options out when another tap came on the door. He sighed and opened the door again. A small roar came out of the closet as he reached down. A small cat-like creature with black fur and a long tail jumped into his arms. It climbed up to sit on his shoulders. It's tail wrapped around his neck. He turned around to face her again, not saying anything.❞

Go away. Why are you bothering me? ☠Ȼhaos☠ ❝It gave her a curious look. It hissed in his ear and he shook his head. "He prefers to go by Shade," he paused as it hissed in his ear again. He looked at it for a moment, then smirked. "He says you're funny when you sleep, he said. It hissed in his ear once more and he paused, giving her an unsure look before nodding. He lifted his arm halfway, palm up, and Shade climbed down his arm, pausing on his palm before leaping for the bed. He landed softly next to her, then turned to look at her, giving her an appraising look.❞

Go away. Why are you bothering me? ☠Ȼhaos☠ ❝Shade let out a laugh, or what sounded like a laugh, anyway. He jumped off the bed went back to Chaos, jumping onto the arm that Chaos offered him. He climbed back up and sat on his shoulders again, tail wrapped around Chaos' neck. Chaos chuckled when he hissed at him. "He said sometimes you do," he said. Shade gave her a look and hissed again. "No, it was a cat, he said. Shade laughed again. Chaos flicked him on the head and Shade retaliated with a smack from his tail.❞

He didn't like talking, he preferred to talk the way he normally did with Chaos. Normally, he didn't have to worry about talking to anyone. "He's referring to your tail and ears," Chaos explained. Shade hissed at him again and Chaos shook his head. "I don't know," he said. Shade sighed and smacked Chaos' ear with a very hand-like paw.❞

He was telepathic. He could also fly, but he didn't do that much, preferring to sit on Chaos' shoulders. Though, you're the first person he's allowed to stay here for so long, he continued, so maybe there is hope for you, Shade said. He then turned to Chaos and hissed. Chaos' eyes widened for a moment, then he smacked Shade on the head. Shade bit his ear and hissed again. "I told you it was a cat," Chaos said. Shade laughed again.❞
