Kaimei glanced at his twin, who shrugged fractionally, so slightly if he hadn't been looking at Saichi, he wouldn't have known it. He found it interesting that Krystal had chosen the oceanic teal-blue bracelet with the silvery blue gemstone. If I'm right, it'll awaken, he thought. The moment she touched the bracelet, the gemstone pulsed steadily and rhythmically, the color of the gleaming light within the gemstone reminding him oddly of moonlight.

Kaimei cocked his head, sensing the energy swirling around Krystal. Feels.... like water, unless I'm mistaken, he thought. He darted a very quick glance at his brother, who didn't seem to notice, focusing instead on Fox and Falco. Seems his revolves around lightning... mine, I think, is metal, and the theory says the other bracelets link to elements as well, but nobody's certain, he thought. He blinked, noticing a very slight ring of frost forming on the floor where Krystal's boots touched the floor that grew even as he watched it.

Kaimei cocked his head. "Are you going to stand there and let flowers grow or try awakening a Blade bracelet?" he said blandly, directing the comment to Fox and Falco specifically. He knew Saichi found it amusing because he chuckled.

Fox nodded. "Guess that means I'll try..." He walked over to the table, reaching a hand out for a bracelet. The (marauder? I'm pretty sure I'm thinking of a different thing. What's the name of the people who do things for money?) hesitated for a brief moment, flesh almost touching it, then pushed all thoughts away and picked up the mystical item. ~~

Kaimei cocked an eyebrow as the black bracelet with the silver stone that reminded him of hematite ignited in a odd bluish black glow that reminded him of flames. Odd... seems that one manipulates shadows, if I'm right, he thought.
(I think you're thinking of 'militant', as in military or affiliated with the military, which fits Falco, considering...)

Fox, who really wasn't too familiar with energy and all that--and yet more familiar with it than, say, Falco--figured he'd probably just 'go with the flow.' Whatever the bracelet did, then it did it. He'd have to follow. ~~

Kaimei shifted. "There are areas in the cavern where dummies are set up to see what kind of abilities each bracelet has... I have suspicions, but no certainties in that area," he said quietly. The tapped a couple of buttons and dismissed the holo-keyboard as several dozen feet into the cavern to the right side and left lights lit up several dummies that seemed made of steel but were faceless humanoids. It was obvious from the way subtle reflections bounced off the walls there was a lake or pond in the center of the cavern.

Kaimei smiled slightly. "Don't worry too much about the pond... it's covered with a transparent layer of plasteel... the toughness of steel with the flexibility of plastic... pretty handy for armor of vehicles, really," he said with a shrug as he slipped out of the room into the shadows, Saichi not far behind him.

Kaimei chuckled. "I'd wager he's probably looking for us now; there are tunnels throughout the city like this, so it may be possible to use them to surprise Oikonny," he said thoughtfully. Bluish white energy flared up as Saichi darted at one of the dummies, a high pitched whistling following as if dozens of chirping birds were reacting simultaneously.
((Doesn't bother me any... I have been thinking of a SOH roleplay though... if it interests you...))
