Could Be Worse [Awesome x Mayah]

[Mayah Playah]

"What are you talking about?" she replied softly and monotonously. "I spoke to you 20 minutes ago."

"You know what I mean." he scowled and revved the engine. "You're acting weird. Why?"

"I'm not acting weird," she snapped. "Just leave it be and drive, ok?"  

[Its Smiley]

Alcott grew silent, but he did the exact opposite of what she said. He waited for a car to pass by before he drove to the shoulder lane and stopped the car. "Alright, we're not leaving until you tell me what's wrong." he said and pulled the key away from her reach. "You've been nothing but doom and gloom ever since we got off the Ferris Wheel, and I know you've noticed it, too."

She shook her head. "It's not your business, Alcott. We need to go, before it gets too late and we have to sleep in a shady motel."

He made no sign of getting ready to go. "Your parents put me in charge of you. Any problem you have is my problem."

Michaela refused to look at him. "Please...just appreciate my silence and keep going before-damn it." Friwnjng at the disappearing sun, she sighed. "Good luck finding a decent hotel that won't think we're there to have sex."

"Like I care what some dingy people think." Alcott grunted. "Now we've got all the time in the world, so you've got nothing to lose."

"Just leave it alone!" she cried, kicking open the door and storming out. Shivering at the cold night air, she started walking, wiping away tears. 'God, what is happening to me? I think I'm starting to-NO! No, I'm a Bloodwell woman, I don't love if there isn't money involved, and I'm clearly bringing in the most money. God, what the hell is wrong with me?' She sat on a tree stump, bringing her knees up under her chin and trying her best not to cry. "God dammit!"

Footsteps on the dirt could be heard until Alcott's voice drowned them out. "What, are you on your period? Is that it? Mood swings?"

"You're an a*****e!" she yelled, tugging her jacket tighter.

He held his hands up in a sign of no harm. "That was an honest to God question! It's the only explanation I've got for your sudden gloom."

After a few moments of silence, she spoke, her voice breaking and thick with unshed tears. "Just leave me alone...please...I can't handle this right now...I can't-" Before she could finish, she burst into tears, sobbing so hard that her whole body shook and the cries if her pain echoes through the woods.

"Alright, fine." Alcott sighed and halfway turned around when he heard the sobs. "What's going on with you?" he said with a frustrated look on his face. First it was her normal attitude, then silent and moody, now all tears? What the Hell?!

As she sobbed in, Michaela got to thinking. Why was she crying? Oh yeah, she's started feeling things towards her greatest annoyance.
