Aulus

Aulus's mirror didn't give a very good impression of what exactly was at the top of the stairs, but it seemed surprisingly well-lit for a change, and there were no moving shapes.

[J, hopefully to L]

Well he didn't see anyone in either direction wielding an axe. He put the mirror away and licked his dry lips as his heart tried to jump out of his chest with every quickened beat.

What was the worst that could happen?

Ahahahaha, oh Gods, why had he volunteered for this?

Extending just one end of his staff and raising it defensively Aulus quickly took the last step up onto the next floor, putting his back to the first available wall as he scanned for threats. He didn't notice his dex buzz at him.

Tama stopped in the stairs when Aulus stopped at the top. Receiving the text, he read it and replied. I have Hexus, my Spiritomb. He sent it but then read Faleen's, If you still even need him. He added

Lex opened his final pokeball, releasing his Ariados towards the ceiling. The long legged spider pokemon glanced down and started climbing up, slowly approaching the landing to the next floor.

Lex followed as well, his team out and ready for trouble.

This floor was lit, good. much better then using a flashlight, and of course that meant this level had power.

She stepped up into the room behind Aulus, taking a look around the room herself. Zoroark crouching down and stalking on all fours along with Absol as they two crept into the room with their master.

All Rockets

After emerging at the top of the stairs, the Rockets would be greeted by the sight of an elevator with a slot for a keycard. The area was better lit than other parts of the ship, implying that the elevator would likely function if it could be activated.

On either side of the elevator was a plaque; one pointed west and read HOUSING, and the other pointed east and read TRAINING/RECREATION. One glance down either hall would quickly reveal that functioning lights were not any more the norm here than they were on the first floor.

Tama nodded at the text he just got. With that, he just continued up the stairs when the others slowly entered the room.

He peeked his head around as he cautiously headed inside, happy for the well lit area as he turned off his flashlight. Once again, he released Tiamat as he spread out into the room, but still making sure to be within ear shot of anyone that made commands.

The top of the stairs had lead to a brightly lit hallway and signs. House and Training/Recreation. "I'm rather wary of the Training. Perhaps we should skip it?" He suggested, remembering the hasty scrawled note and fished it from his pocket. "watch out for training, vents off just in case " sounds a bit ominous.

So Kailee was analyzing the system. Its what she did as a scientist. So we had the whole party moving upstairs.... where there were possibly insane people. They were being lead by an emotionally scarred Agent with an anger issue. No one was giving orders... save for silent hand signals they had not been briefed on by said emotionally scarred agent.

She glanced to her dex and was more then happy to have Boo help. Since boo was already out she waved him to go look. He nodded but headed off invisible. Kailee waited for an all clear to move. And then she did passing the body. She was indifferent to the one after being flooded with the tomb.

So she looked at the places there were to go. Training or Housing. She had a feeling there would be crazy people locked in their rooms... but she assumed beat up bodies waited in the training area. So she looked to the groups. So they would break up again... and she was supposed to stand here and wait to be told what to do... Great... she got to be just as traumatized on this trip as everyone else... only she didnt get choices. Wonderful. Not that she envied any of the agents the choices they had to make... but she did want the freedom to at least be allowed an opinion.

Room J - L

Upon receiving the 'dex message, Tambrey raised her finger to Gauntlet, who vanished from sight to help out and have a look around himself.
She had to admit, as wary as she was of her electric ghost, he certainly was useful given how obedient he could be.

Then they were up, and Tambrey frowned slightly. Typical; here was an elevator, something -she knew- Gauntlet had experience with possessing, and she'd just sent him off to scout.

She shook her head at Lex; skipping a place didn't see a good idea, no matter what they might find, though they -could-, at least, be cautious.

[Room L]

No axe murderers, and as yet no more corpses or unpleasantly familiar places. Despite these facts Aulus didn't relax even a little and he kept his half extended staff in his hand; that person, whoever they were, was no doubt still up here somewhere and who knew what they'd do? He wasn't prepared to take the risk that they were 'harmless crazy', no, he wanted to be ready to knock them the hell out should they pop around a corner armed.

"Alright," he murmured to the others, they couldn't really just stop talking he guessed even if he really, really wanted to just be silent and unnoticed, "we've got one live one at least, possibly both hostile and crazy, so every team needs an alert rear guard." That was probably obvious but it bore saying all the same he felt, because only just short of complete panic himself he knew how easily important things could slip your mind.

"Warning taken, but we can't leave stones unturned," he nodded to Lex. "From that sound of that there's something horrible in there, probably not at all useful to us, but we can't be sure unless we check... might be best to send a ghost type in through the doors first if it looks airtight, just in case it's... I don't know, full of deadly neurotoxin or something." Was there a kind of neurotoxin that wasn't deadly? This was not the time or the place to wonder, much as he wanted distractions from reality he knew he couldn't afford them.

That room.

The chair.

Cold black eyes.

Aulus shivered and strove to force the images to the back of his mind, he needed to focus! "I'll take training," he volunteered, because somebody had to. "Will somebody with a ghost type come with me?" Should he have made that an order? Maybe. He wasn't sure, and felt like he never was really.

Hallway L

“True, though I rather start with housing just to see if we can find someone to tell us what is in Training.” Lex shrugged and paused, focusing on the elevator doors. “I’m not a techy type, but is there a way to stop the elevator from working till we need it? That way we don’t have to worry from enemies the next floor up or down surprising us.”
