Bitter Pill smirked at Diamante. Part of her wished she had done the ol' man in herself. Not that it mattered though, what was done was done and the best she could do now was solve his death and get that sweet cash.

The pink unicorn nodded as Habeus Corpses spoke. So he was involved in another project and it seemed like he had been very close to this Dr. Visage though not romantically it sounded like. Part of her wondered why someone would leave their coat here though if they weren't involved together but, that was a question for another time. She nodded a "thank you" before turning back to Diamante. "Lets check out the wine cave while we're here. Wine About It seems to be looking for something...wouldn't it be awesome if we found it?" She grinned making her way into the kitchen.

C: Search the laundry room

As soon as Del spotted the strange painting with the eyes cut out he couldn't leave it alone. The only thing he could think would be the purpose to cut the yes out was to spy on someone. But who? Would the old man really be spying on someone in his own house? Pfff. This just had to mean someone was watching him. The murderer probably. "Damn it old man." was all Del could keep saying to himself as he cursed under his breath while tugging the painting back.

The tunnel seemed strange but worth investigating. Climbing through, he held the flashlight in his mouth as he felt his way along, checking if anything strange was on the walls as he went. Like a cubby hole or a button, something.

But when he popped out in the laundry room he blinked in surprise. This was the room locked from the outside, but why? All he could smell in here was cleaning detergent and linen. Then again, didnt people use bleach or something to clean up blood? Not that he was an expert on such things. Still.

Wrinkling his nose, Del passed his flashlight around, looking through anything and everything. Baskets, piles of left over laundry for any kind of blood stains or something someone might have tried to hide, he even looked for a light switch! Something had to be in here for it to be locked and by the old man's money he was going to find it!

(GOSH DANG IT PAWS. THAT IS NOT THE NUMBER YOU WANTED.)

Quarter Mane tapped along the walls, humming to himself as he tried to look for a secret entrance. Having found the blueprint for the first floor earlier he knew there was at least a few in the house, why not one in here? Old Moneybags sure was clever enough to have hidden a few in choice parts of the house. Though this room looked hardly used at all.

After making a sweep of the room he gave up with a sigh. Nothing seemed to open up from what he could find. "Sure is a swanky place, though a bit outdated." Scratching his chin, he sat back down on the couch with a shrug. Hopefully Delegator was having better look wherever he went.

Satin had made her way to the library and boy was it huge! Books everywhere, Marvel really wanted to just look at all the books and see what was there but she had to remind herself that Satin Doll wouldn't have done so (so sad). She considered her options before heading to the south portion of the library to look around.

D. Head through the sitting room to the library.

Frowning, Clementine left the powder room. She heard Chop-Chop in the kitchen and dismissed it for the moment--she would find Fuschia presently, she was certain. If not, she would come back and check on her and do it herself! Fuschia--she was always easy to find, was she not?

She went through the sitting room and into the library instead. The sitting room looked absolutely disgusting. Turned inside out. What on earth had happened here? Had everyone lost their minds, like Moneybags? Goodness. She came into the library, just coming in as Torts was--doing something. Looking in a book. She narrowed her eyes, quietly approaching, trying to see what the other was doing. To hide her actions, she turned toward the books, leafing through a few as though trying to find her own volume.

Detective Gumshoe noticed the look on Edelweiss' face and wondered if this phony had just farted while standing on the ladder above him. He held his breath for a short moment in case the smell of rotten eggs could be sniffed up in the air...

TH looked away for a moment and noticed that the phony that was near the rug had come towards them. "Pennybags?" Ah, he's the dead phony's rich son assuming that his dad did give him a lump of money before he died...

Gumshoe's attention shifted again as the lass thought he was peeping. "Er... Yes... Please come on down," he replied as he lowered himself down the ladder and stepped aside for the lady to get down. She did had a fine butt but now was not the time to be flirting with someone else's phony with that noticeably giant blinding ring around her hoof.

"Open the book, open the book," he chanted in a hurry. Was there any useful clues inside this book? Or was it just a dud? After watching Edelweis flip through the pages, he cringed his nose when the book had info on how to make garrotes. Was this some sick fetish or was this used for strangling somephony to death?? Like Moneybags? But what's even more strange was what was written at the bottom of the page. "Nylon is best - hardware store? What does that even mean?" he asked, looking at the lady phony. Did the murderer use nylon stockings to kill Moneybags or wanted to wear them?

Remembering Pennybags at that moment, the detective turned aound and wanted to ask him about the nylon thing in that book but it was as if he had vanished into thin air and out of sight.

Book Smart sighed and headed out of the room. He was moving toward the noises of hooves, still thinking hard about his theories. He stopped moving when he realized that he was in a actual library.

"...Now where would the books about the history of this house would be, either here or there, or perhaps somewhere else unexpected.... "

He stood in the middle and looked around the lower shelves, taking great care in handling the old yet fragile books.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOKS!!! Obi was so glad!!!!!

Diamante nodded. The good doctor and her old friend were involved, huh? Even though it was implied they were only friends, the same was said about her and rumors still spread that they were lovers. Maybe this young doctor was the same. She rolled her eyes and agreed to head to the wine cave.

"That would be, wouldn't it? Ohohoho~" she laughed, and pranced after the bigger mare.

"I am sorry, darling, but I had to leave the kitchen before I could get you a snack. I ran into Judge Fudge practicing law with the wine connoisseur..." He couldn't help but arched an eyebrow at his fiancee's antics with the detective. Well, his darling had always been a bit friendly. Nothing wrong with friendly.

None the less, he walked around to stand besides his fiancee once she came from the stairs. "You should be careful, no idea how old those stairs are."

"Though you seemed to have quiet a bit of excitement while I was gone." He looked over the book for a moment. "Why don't we step aside, and let the detective look over that book, and meanwhile you can tell me what you been up to, dear?" His smile was a bit more force then usual, thought his glares seemed reserve for the detective rather then his flirtasious fiancee, before he started walking looking for a place for them to sit down for a bit

The opera phony seemed to follow her... Torts peered behind her shoulder. "That coat? You looked at it first, didn't you? I thought you'd already have seen. I think there was a name there. Womb something... Womb... bat? " It was a little sassy of a response, but Torts couldn't help but play dumb about it a little bit; but provided half answers as she was grateful for the opera ticket tip. Millions were at stake after all.

As she went back to her searching, Torts was gleeful to find a small key. It didn't really seem large enough to fit most locks, being a little brass key; not really heavy enough for a door key. The lawyer tried not to let herself smile too hard when finding it, and slipped it into her pocket, cautious of anyone finding it. Small key... small key... perhaps... Torts shook her head, didn't she see that maid-like phony give a key to another player.. Don something? Perhaps this key had a similar use. She wouldn't know if she didn't bother to try it on something though.. but what was she looking for? Well.. it was a room full of books. Perhaps a diary, maybe a jewelry box even.. but if nothing turned up, she was sure to keep the key with her.

Torts turned around and nearly bumped into the other phony who was close by. A sort of ...was this... the son's wife? Fanta nearly snorted, seeing the 'wife' closer up. Too amusing. She covered though with a quick "oh, I'm so sorry madam! I barely saw you there. Sneaky thing, I should watch my back around you, murderer about and so on." Torts scooted away though, and decided maybe the best place to look would be in the gross corner. The poop corner of the library.

She breathed deep and took a brave step out to investigate the northern part of the library. She decided to it would be nice to avoid mouse poop though and tried to scoot the rug away, attempting to fling it away with her hoof. Then she could investigate that side, looking for something with a small lock that would match her found key.

Bright Blessings decided it was time to move on. There was nothing in store for him in this room anymore, perhaps he should head to the library. Gathering himself, the phony approached the service tunnel, casting one last look upon the room before heading out.

With a roll of her eyes Sea Major started to search through the library, heading to the West Part of the Library. If this other phony wasn't going to be helpful then she too wouldn't be helpful and mention any of the other stuff she had found earlier. So Womb something had been the owner of the coat? Did she know anyone with Womb in their name or maybe went by a different name who's real name had Womb in it?

Starting on her way, Sea Major began to search for more things that looked out of place or suspicious. There had to be something in here, right?

A) Search the library north

"Oh, how horrendous," Edelweiss cried, snapping the book closed and dropping it to the floor.

Her horror seemed short lived once she'd cuddled up to her fiancée, her sniffles put on for effect. "You are quite right darling," she purred. "Let's keep looking together." Because no handsome detective could ever compete with her darling Brass Tacks.

Though she did give Gumshoe a wink goodbye. There was sure to be a fun afterparty later on.

Ah there it was, a death glare followed by a playful wink. Detective Gumshoe knew this all too well. Suspicious. He was very suspicious of this couple, but, it is never fun being a third wheeler.

Just this once, although he'd rather be hot in their tracks, he gave them the privacy they wanted, and shouted at them as they started to head north. "Tell me if ye find anymore clues, assuming you two arr not constantly making out somewhere in the dark...!"

He gave a loud sigh and picked up the book from the floor. He would need to ask Pennybags if he knew anything about the folded sick page later. Or anyone who knew Moneybags.

For now, he turned halfway to face south and went searching for more clues. He took out all the books on the very bottom shelves of each tier without putting it back in place since he was in a hurry. It be better that way so the lovey dovey couple can see that he'd already searched and plundered.

He needed more clues and hopefully find answers here in the south part of the library.

Why were there mouse droppings near these books? Fussbucket should've kept this place clean. Where is she anyway? I haven't seen her for a while now.

She didn't particularly want to, but Cutie had to use the bathroom - her dead grandfather's bathroom (D). Or, well, his guest bathroom, in any case. While she was in there, though, she had a good look around.
