Hello sorry for leaving awhile ago. Thanks i hope so. I wanna eat those cake of no bodu gives me I'm gonna buy one for myself :excited: I prefer any of the avi like just draw the one you like since i draw too i know how it feels to have an inspiration to do it haha. You're welcome about the items! Please view the announcement on the first page to see more contest!
No worries for that at all! ^_^ We can't stay on all the time and ignore RL, right? LOL There's nothing wrong with buying yourself a cake. XD
My mom asked me what kind of cake I wanted for my birthday earlier this year, and she was shocked when I told her I didn't want cake... I wanted date bars instead. Haha, she paid for them, but made me go get them myself from the bakery.
LOL, true. It's harder to draw something you don't like than something that you like as well. Do you have a deviantart or other gallery? ^_^
I'll check that out as well. biggrin

XD That would be an interesting cake. Usually if I go for cake I want something white with a bit of almond flavor to it. LOL (Tastes more like a wedding cake than a birthday cake). Though, I do LOVE a small piece of really rich red velvet cake every now and then. There's a shop here in town that sells small cupcakes of that flavor with a cream cheese filling. YUM...
That's cool, as long as you are drawing, keeps you in practice. Nothing wrong with pixel or traditional at all. ^_^ I still do a lot of traditional stuff as well, but I don't use dA much, so most of my crap doesn't get posted at all.
Wacom for the birthday wish, right? ROFL! I actually got one that was used and it's lasted several years. I definitely love mine.

Haha... I don't bake much myself. I cook supper, but that's usually something that's just a heat and eat sort of thing when we use the oven. Last time I tried to bake a cake was a disaster.
Don't get me wrong, the thing tasted delicious, BUT it was such a catastrophe when I tried to turn it out of the pan, the thing fell apart completely, trying to use icing to hold it together only made it WORSE, so I thought I'd melt the icing a bit... OVER melted it, and it just SOAKED into the cake and made it like wet goo trying to eat it. So yeah, my cake had to be served in bowls with spoons. ROFL
My mom laughed at me and I told her I get my baking skills from her. XD Still makes fun of me that the only B I made in middle school was in home economics baking class.
There are some really affordable ones in other brands, but there are some that I don't like. I hate it when the pen or the tablet needs a separate power source, and using a pen with a battery that dies just irks the snot out of me. So... it might be something you want to pick out yourself to see what works best for you.
My friend had one where the pen had a battery, and I thought the pen was too heavy to comfortably use, but she loved it. XD So, it's whatever floats your boat, really.

Same here cooking is much easier like after frying some stuffs you could also bake it a little but with cakes its super not same XD We baked some cookies and it was great and some brownies but those are the easy ones i never tried with cake or cupcakes at all since i still need to buy some stuff for it.
Ohh i don't like that pen with batt so what could you recommend me?

ROFL... my mom made a cake for my grandmother this past summer... we were having a big cook out with all our family, she asked me to get down a bowl from the cabinet above where the cake was, and as soon as I opend the door, a bowl fell from the top shelf and broke on the counter, so we had glass all in our cake and had to trash it. Yeah, we don't have much luck with cakes here either.
Thankfully it was just a box cake and not a made from scratch cake, but still was something my mom had take the time to make herself. I suppose better to waste $2 on a box of cake mix than ruin a cake bought for ten times that at least from the bakery, right?
Wacom is definitely the brand I trust the most, pretty much all of their pens are battery free. But, it's also one of the higher price brands for tablets because they've been around the longest and well known. Their quality is top notch though.
One of my friends has a Huion tablet, it's not bad from the short time I used it. The thing that irked me the most, was that the pen was one sided, meaning it doesn't have the eraser programmed at the other end of the pen. The pros- the large sized tablets are MUCH more affordable than the Waccom larger tablets. Cons - the pen has to be charged as well, so if it's dead... no go on the art.
However, there are affordable Wacom lines as well. They're not as geared towards the professional end, but for a starting tablet, the Wacom Intuos Draw is something you might want to look into. They are about $70 and that's including a drawing program.
I have a Wacom Intuos 4 medium, which ranged about $300 new, but like I said... I bought mine used, so it was only about $75. XD It was a Craigslist steal. LOL
Definitely recommend Paint Tool Sai as far as programs go, though.

XD My mom thought it was hilarious, she knew it wasn't really my fault as all I did was open the door, but one of my aunts threw a b***h fit in front of everyone blaming me for ruining the cake. Ran to the store and bought a cherry and peach cobbler along with ice cream. Lol, my mom made fun of that aunt who was a b***h with me and one of my other aunts hanging out in the kitchen the rest of the day. Lol
