Well we could always do what they do in horse racing with those 5:1 bets etc. The only problem would be seeing if people are alright with being placed at say 500:1 and placing them would be tough as well.
Though if that happens I think Darius's odds are at the above 25:1 mark because of the fact that most people don't know his skill (per say I don't know if anyone reads my Rp's) and Darius's odds goes to something like 50:1 because of skimpily dressed people and his fatefulness to Lily and finally it goes to 75:1 because Darius is clumsy.
Translation: Darius=Screwed xp

Well someone could make a thread and for each fight people could bet on the person they want to win. Then whoever wins if more then one person bet on that one person you divide the gold equally mong the people. the one way you could do it.

Right. All the money bet on one match goes to one pile and then the money each winner bet is given back and then the remained of the losers' bets are divided between the winners as well.

Then the total pile is 800 gold.
Then after the battle is over.
the 4 people who betted on Dante will each recieve 800/4 ?

You have to do it like its done for race horses....
Whatever the better bets, if that person wins, they must recieve EXACTLY what they bet on their champion. If kurai bets 1000 on me to win, and i do, then he gets 1000. BUT, if the even is one sided, lets say Kurai bets 1000 on Scy, and everyone else bets any amount of me, Scy is the underdog, and in the event of a win, Kurai would reciece ALL gold.

if the number of people betting on each fighter is equal, then the profits are split with each winner receiving AT LEAST the amout they bet to win. If the amount if less then or greater than equal, the amount of gold won will be split equally with each person receiving at least the amount they bet.

Like maybe "I bet 100 gold on Kurai!" I mean people...you can easily make 100 gold in less than 2 hours >.<

Well I'm betting on the fact that one of these two is going to win and either way the next person facing them will need all the help he can get.
And knowing that cruel Irony kicks in at random moments if I succeed in making it to the next round I will face one of them.
This battle is very entertaining though, I am really enjoying this!
