Njord brightened at the question. "A beach is simply marvelous! Perhaps I will take you to one after this. As for fishing, it is delightful to the patient." he said then leaned back in his seat. "Hmm... You act very mature for your age." he mused.

Eve smiled happily at 'Nero's' suggestion. "Oh! What a lovely idea! Oh, well yes. I read many books, so I guess since they are all advanced it rubs off on me. Also the fact that nothing too exciting has ever happened." Eve replied.

"Not exciting?" Njord quirked an eyebrow just as the waitress returned with their drinks. "My, you haven't stayed at this school that long, have you?" he muttered and took a sip of his Cola. He could taste all the sugar in it at grimaced inwardly, wondering how his younger self could enjoy such junk so well.

Eve nodded at 'Nero'. "Oh, thank you miss." She looked back at 'Nero'. "Well no, I haven't. But aside from that my life is dull as well, besides the amazing images I picture in my head while reading intriguing books." Eve told 'Nero'.

"It's only dull if you let it be." the ancient god muttered while setting his glass down. He leaned forward in his seat. "Be spontaneous, act like a character in your favorite book would."

Eve looked at 'Nero' like he had just explained one of the best ideas ever. "Oh. That is a good idea." Eve nodded and took a sip of her milk.

Njord smiled at her expression. "Yes, I'm... good at giving advise." he chuckled lightly. Deep in his mind did he have to put up with Nero's nag to get his body back.

Eve nodded her head. "Mm you definitely are!" Eve looked at 'Nero' in the eyes for a moment. Then she slightly blushed and looked back down at her milk.

'Can I puh-lease have my body back?' Nero whined.

'Are you going to be rude to the girl again?' Njord responded coolly, the entire conversation happening in his head.

'Duh! She's so boring!'

'She is a child that only knows the works of literature.'

'So she's a boring nerd!'

'You're not getting your body back until you learn to be nice.'

'Hey, I tried - Wait, what was that? Why'd she quickly look down like that? Did you make her get a crush on me?'

Njord coughed to hide his laugh. 'Hardly. And even if she were to be smitten it would be with me, not you.'

'Conceded, are we?'

Njord inwardly sighed and took a sip of his Coke.

Eve looked back up at 'Nero' when she heard him cough. "A-are you alright?" Eve asked him worriedly. She looked at him with a worried look on her face.

"Hmm?" Njord brought his eyes back up to the girl. "Ah, yes, just.... just allergies, and what not."

'And what not? You're making me sound old!' Nero protested.

'Technically you are old.' That comment alone got Nero quiet, and it took quite a deal of effort for Njord to not smile.

"Oh, anything too serious? Or just something minor?" Eve cocked her head slightly. She kept her gaze at 'Nero's' eyes.

"No, just a simple cold." he assured and pretended to sneeze to add on to the charade. "Excuse me." he sniffed and rubbed his nose.

"Oh." Eve said and sat back upright. "Bless you! Uhhm, leeks are good for colds... I read that once." Eve suggested.

"There are dozens of things good for a cold." Njord simply answered as the waitress returned to ask what they wanted to eat. "Just give me a sirloin, please." he smiled. His new found kindness surprised the waitress, and with a small smile she wrote down his order and turned to the other girl.
