Fallout: The Ruined York (Open and Accepting)

"I will..." Alex sighed in a depressed manner as she exited the Tavern..  

[Zahzi]

The Tavernmaster just gave a sigh, shaking his head.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

After few minutes, there was knocking on King's door..  

[Zahzi]

"It's open..." King sighed, already knowing who it was.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Kiiiiiiiing..." Alex pouted, already inside. "Was my Dad ashamed of me..?"  

[Zahzi]

"No. Why?" King replied almost instantly as he looked over at her, still facing the radio.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Because I was just told no one knew of me until you announced I was moving in.."  

[Zahzi]

"Mainly because I didn't say anything until you were coming here." King said with a shrug.

"...Didn't seem important at the time..."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"...Did he ever talk about me..?"  

[Zahzi]

"Yes. He spoke many times about his child. His main reason for staying so strong."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"...Really?" Alex tilted her head, already seeming to brighten up.  

[Zahzi]

"Yes. You were his incentive to fight on, even in the face of oppressive odds."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Why's that?"  

[Zahzi]

"He wanted a better life for you."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"But... All lives are miserable... Right?"
