I've been staying so busy at work. I got to play librarian and read stories to the kids all day. That was so much fun! and then there's been so many repairs to be done around the house, not to mention the spring yard work. Hope everyone's been able to get out and enjoy the Spring weather!!!?

That's def not nice Spring weather! Hope it gets better for you. It's been nice and cool in the mornings, reaching the 80's during the day. Pretty!
Does the weather affect anyone else's moods?

Sunny days make me want to relax in the sun, and enjoy the wonderful day. Stormy days are good for a curl up on the couch and the reading of a good book. (I've gotta find some more good books to read)

I finally broke down, out of desperation, and grabbed one of the books my Grandma sent me, just because I haven't had time or energy to go search out my own. But it is turning out to be a pretty good story, written Fern Michaels, but not one of the sisterhood series.
It started out with a rich couple unable to have children and the doc advising to take the wife out to the country. Only along the way, the stop at a small gas station in a tiny country town and kidnap a sleeping baby out of stroller in front the store and raise her as their own.
Oh, I have to elaborate on my cookie preference.... I love fresh out the oven chocolate chip cookies, but a also have a weakness for... what are the called... grasshoppers?... the choc cookies like oreos but with mint creme. Yummy!

Oh WOW! Well, I'm definitely not going to complain about the 80 degree afternoons here. Hopefully we don't start our usual summer pattern of daily afternoon showers once school's out. It's times like that, I wish I had storm's powers!- just re-watched X-Men III, can't wait to see the new one.
Speaking of gingerbread, growing up, I had a great-aunt that used to make us kids the most elaborate gingerbread house. They were so pretty that even as a child, I remember hating to eat it, to destroy it.

Wouldn't that be great? The ability to control weather would be fun! Of course having the powers of Jean Grey would be nice too. biggrin
That sound very cool Gwee. I probably would have had the same problem with eating it too.
