Kiba chuckled and he sighed he put a hand on her back.Stubborn as usual..so he for once gave into her.

"This will be my last night with you I'm afraid..my path is finally ending.I'm however..sad to say are peace will not last much longer."he sighed.He turned and walked out the door..heading downstairs.

Like always, she won't understand until it happens. Karu blinked wondering should she follow. "Kibbi?" She sighed. When did the peace ever last long anyways?

Damon sighed leaning against the wall.

"Bad day eh?"he asked his Aunt.

Karu nodded.

"Yes Dam bad day..." she said sighing

Damon sat down next to his Aunt and gently hugged her.

"Don't worry about him..we need to just relax.."he said softly.

Karu lightly hugged her nephew back.

"Is it dusk yet then?" And beside how can I not worry bout my own brother? she thought for a second

Damon nodded.

"Thats why I came for you two.I kind of..well have the same gift as my dad..and I was afraid he'd tell you.Doesn't matter now though.."he sighed.

Karu shook her head. "He doesn't say to protect. He didn't truly gave in on letting me know what the threat is that's coming..." she sighed softly

Damon sighed.

"I don't think my dad could be truly helped by any of us."he said.

Karu nodded picking up another blade of grass blowing on it.

"I realized that ever since your mother disspeared..no when the first war that changed our lives happened" she said

Damon sighed.

"I meant that by the fact none of us are any better then he is.He just isn't the happiest person anymore..and I can see why.He still cries you know..I see it in my sleep all the time..like always.He can barley look at any of us anymore..becuase he feels he failed us.Especially you..and my mother."he said.

Karu,like always(yet again!), didn't see that part. She sighed.

"Aw..." she muttered lossing a trail of thought again

Damon sighed and he looked at the wall.

"He blames himself..for your death all thouse years ago."he sighed and he looked up at the roof.He let his head fall slightly.

"You know..I feel like he does..for every death I see..for every moment of war.It tears us down.We fight instead of focus on all our misery."he said and he began singing to himself and his Aunt.

"I thought so...that curse is only given to the ruling members of our family..." she said softly. "I don't blame the choice I did standing by his side till my end..."
