I think I'd actually be scared to go to Pripyat, Ukraine, even with people. >.>
I mean, there is literally nothing there but people who have been authorized to go. You actually have to get (easy to obtain) official documents to be able to go into the city, because there's still radioactivity, and because tour guides are mandatory.
I mean, Jeesus, it's empty, not even insects or animals live there, apparently. Although if I do go, I'll be sure to have a poster with N-Cult scribbled on it when, if, I can get my picture taken by the Ferris wheel.
Gonna get my ID, my passport, then I'm gonna get some Ukrainian language in me, then I'll start saving for the trip and hopefully be able to go in a year or something. :3
EDIT: If you don't know, Pripyat is the city which was home to the Chernobyl Nuclear Disaster. ;A; In twenty three years, it's still not habitable, but for a while, it's been marginally safe to venture into the city. Or course, the radioactivity is why you need the official papers, I'm sure. I also want to see the concrete esophagus they built around Reactor 4, that's the one that had the meltdown, because they're building a steel one around it soon.

Acid flowing under my eyeballs, drips down my cheek and rips my skin open and as the blood pours from my face, my teeth fall into the sink, the red water filling the empty white porcelain canvas, in the art of my death.

What thoughts would be running through your mind if you were on a boat, and then all of a sudden a galleon, considerably LARGER then your little wash tub was about to drop in right from above you?

I need to see this place, you know? It's not enough to see pictures and videos, I need to see it, and feel the buildings and feel the atmosphere to solidify the fact that it happened. >.> I'm being very textile about this.
lol I'll prolly start having a breakdown because I'll be scared shitless. I mean, what if the Ontario reactor had a larger meltdown? I'm sure Alberta wouldn't be affected, but still. :/
EDIT: lol, I just noticed I never talk to any of you on MSN. If you want to, it's my username plus @live.ca
