Jarid just gave another grunt, before sitting down on the couch, then laying down.

The Next Day.

Jarid had remained on the couch.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

Behind the couch, someone was crouching...Waiting...  

[Zahzi]

Jarid's eye twitched.
"You're breathing too hard. What do you want?" he growled.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"...Are you feeling well?"  

[Zahzi]

"I coughed up a pint of blood. What do YOU think?"  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Do you need to go to the hospital..?"  

[Zahzi]

"Seeing as I haven't for the past few years, no."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Are you sure..?" Kelly asked a bit louder this time, slowly popping up behind the couch. "Dad's going to be dragging us to church later today for Christmas eve and I don't want something bad happening to you there because of last night."  

[Zahzi]

"This has been happening for months. It only happens at night."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"...So you'll be okay for church?"  

[Zahzi]

"And WHY am I having to be in a church?"  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Because I'm being forced to go too."  

[Zahzi]

"So?"  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"So you're coming too."  

[Zahzi]

"It's a bad idea."
