My parents are the type who have a glass of wine or beer with dinner. I never really minded it, though I hate the taste of both. And though they tend have a few when friends are over, they almost never get drunk. And that's helped me to put it into perspective. (And yes, they have been wasted, and they told me the story, too.)
I have no problem with alcohol. What I have a problem with is people using alcohol irresponsibly.

I agree with you Cobalt. Alcohol can't always be used as an excuse.
As for alcohol and social situations, I am refering to situations where everyone has enjoyed about the same amount of alcohol or in a party where everyone is alright with other people drinking (in my group of friends people even ask permission if they may smoke when they're sitting in the same table in a bar, which of course already is really filled with smoke, with people who don't smoke). I've also witnessed people getting too drunk on formal situations, something that should be avoided at all cost sweatdrop

Moderation is indeed the key to anything . . . and I am not condemning those that enjoy alcohol- even those that like it a bit too much. It is just something that will not be taken by me in enough quantities to 'enjoy' the effects of. Ever.

I liked it when it was only 7 days away... cuz then I could say 'I won't die in 7 days.... I'll only turn 15, but close enough' x3
