Mayloo couldn't help but blush out of embarassment while the vines shirveled away. "Thanks"
It seemed as if Vence had came up with an idea to cheer her up before heading once more into the alley. Smiling, she made sure to follow and listen in. Anything to get over at this point would be just fine. Atleast...until she actually heard him. Grimacing alittle, Mayloo began to think. "W-wouldn't others see it? I mean taller then a building and in an alley near the gate. It's bound to be seen..." Fidgetting alittle, a sprout began near his feet. "It may take alot, I haven't done it in practically forever"
The sprout opened up and grew some leaves at it climbed slowly into the air with the gaining of bark. Branches hesitantly showed themselves from the thin tree stalk. "This could take awhile..." It looked as if years were passing their course within a minute for now it started to thicken along with the branches which were now speckled in many leaves.
This process continued, and eventually, after what seemed to be an eternity, it reached the height of the house. At the top, it was slightly barer then an average tree aside from the branches, but she had purposely made it so. "Almost...done" For an added help, a few thick twig protrusions shot themselves from the base upward. Consider them for climbing.
"There" Mayloo stumbled alittle and yawned. She wasn't weak, but to focus her magic for that long without the adrenaline of a fight pumping, took some work. Besides, there was something to laugh at as well. The tree....was a bit deformed.

"Well, I have to say that was....impressive," Vence said, an amused look on his face. Aside fom looking funny, he really was impressed, It took a lot of work to grow a tree, and was quite honestly surprised the only sign of fatigue she showed was a light stumble and a yawn. Maybe...she was like him in that aspect as well. Way more magical energy than the average person. Way more meaning elite-status.
"Has anyone ever called you a lifesaver?" he asked, smiling. Feeling like he needed to return the favor, he placed a hand on her shoulder, sending a small ammount of his own energy into her. It wasn't exactly a hard task, but the cost was doubled: whatever you gave to the user, you lost an equal amount by two-fold.
She hadn't lost much though, and it left him largely uneffected
"Shall we be off?" Placing a hand on one of the tree's irregular branches, he stood there for a moment, getting the feel of it. he lifted himself up and then...he was scaling the height in seconds. Maybe he had forgotten to mention he was an expert climber. Just before he reached the top, he stopped, hanging onto one branch with one hand, the rest of himself dangling. He smiled down at mayloo, using his free hand to wave. This was even more amusing than the tree itself.

Mayloo draped her arms over his shoulders and leaned on him abit before smiling from his compliments. "Thanks, I don't think I am much of a life saver. Just...lucky when need"
Backing away from him abit, he placed a hand upon her shoulder in which she thought was a gesture to stay and so she stood, abit confused until a sudden refresh came about. "You just help me...how?" Shaking her head to disregard her own question, she now watched him climb.
"You seem to comfortable with this" She raised her voice abit towards him while beginning to find her footing to began climbing as well. His waving was a sign of acceptance to her.
Mayloo began to scale herself up as well which took alittle more time from fear of falling, even if it was a short distance. "So...we're going to jump off the house ,over the fence, from the roof?"
((I offered free art and the person in offering to pay instead...Do you want a cut if I accept? ))

[It's your choice, either way I don't mind. 3nodding -is considering playing pinball for money- xd ]
"Of course I'm comfortable. After years of fooling around in a wooded area, climbing trees is a top neccesity for doing so," Vence said, smiling as he watched her climb. "And you pretty much guessed it. Not sure about the straight-down jump, but that'll be planned after this," Vence said, finishing the climb as he did so. He sat down, letting his feet dangle over the edge as he waited patiently for Mayloo to arrive.

"That or your just a typical boy" She said joking. Mayloo continued making her way closer to the roof and all, but the closer, the more nervous. What if she slipped off? That wouldn't be good. "How come no one has spotted us by now?"
Carefully, she watched her footing on the tree with her grasps on the roof while asking a helping hand from Vence. She was to nervous to move much.
((Ohhh, I'll so join you))

Well, that could be true too, Vence thought, saying nothing. As for her question, that was a good point.
"No one's paying attention to random trees popping up, perhaps?" Vence said, smiling. As she reached the top, Mayloo seemed to be struggling, so he shifted his position -no longer sitting casually- and held out a hand for support.
"Maybe a ramp would have been better," Vence commented, smiling. "Less dangerous, and less noticable."
[Would you? I'm touched. whee I need some practice anyway. I need to get back to making millions of points like I used to. xd ]

"Well what about random tree popping up with people climbing them" She said laughing alittle and took his hand. Mayloo didn't really rely on him so much, but instead used his hand to boost her confidence while she finished her climb and crawled onto the house. "I would agree, but I'd probably end up using it as a slide instead." Smiling, Mayloo squeezed his hand alittle and sat down besides him.
"Now what is the plan capitan" The word captian had been trasfered into more of an Italy accent just for fun
((Yes! My favorite gaia game. Invite me =D xD ))

"Captain? I had no idea I was such a high rank," Vence replied, smiling. "I figured I'd be a lieutenant or something," Vence added, shrugging.
"As for a plan...I have to come up with one." He had to be honset, now that they were up there, the problem of getting down without being sing, and without getting hurt, was achallenge. Then again, he should be able to pull something off. He could just jump; it was a two story building, and he'd jumped that height before. Mayloo most likely hadn't, no doubt.
A few seconds ago she had mentioned a slide. Vence smiled, the idea having been found.
"...Hey, Mayloo...do you like slides?" Vence asked, turning to her, a smile of amusement on his face. It would be funny, if anyone saw. They'd probably be too busy laughing to tell on them in time.
[well, when I get around to it, I will. smile ]

Mayloo smiled with a nod. "You might as well be. I mean your doing so much...Besides, your a captain in my mind." That was a comment that would probably throw him alittle.
"Very well, I mean...there are a few major factors within this one...maybe for me. You I bet could do physically much more." Pulling her knees into her chest, she rested her head upon them and frowned. She was holding the group back it seemed, but what Vence said next was abit confusing. "Y-yeah? Why? I'm no I could fashion a ramp...."
He might've been smiling and all, but he had the plan. She was just lost and in thought to puzzle what he ment together.
((Well I gotta go to open house...then go supply shopping...So I'll be home probably around 7 or 9. Depends. sheesh...I love being within the same time zone. So much easier))

[My open house is two days before school starts, which is Monday. My open house is Saterday. That leaves me with a day and a half to buy school supplies. Considering I already have a few notbooks and folders, it shouldn't be that much of a hassle, but with prices and what are reqired in school these days... stare I figure if it's a public school, they should supply you with what you need. There are people who can't afford everything. (example, my family rolleyes )]
"I can only do so much, though. I have my disadvantages," Vence said, intending to try and make things easier. She didn't seem all to content with the situation it seemed. Without really thinking, he placed an arm around her, hoping it would be some comfort.
"Alright, here's the plan," Vence said, going back to the main topic. They had to get off the roof at some point, after all. "From the other side of the wall, we need to have a tree grown. Shape it like a half circle thoguh, a slide, if you will. So, once it reaches us, he simply slide down, and to prevent anyone following, if they spot us, we return the tree to the ground, or I could burn it and we can run for it." The last part was more for humor than actually being serious.
"It's either that, Or I jump down, then you jump while I catch you," Vence added, the only other alternative plan he had thought up on the spot.

((Really? My mom spent $275 or so tonight on supplies...and yet we still need some things...including a graphing calculator?! Those are expensive...And I'm switching out of photo since I don't have a good enough camara....Kinda bites...They should. My sister's friend's school only requires $75 and then they give you what you need))
She rested her head upon his shoulder in return while listening to what he came up with. Another tree....deformed like the only, but in a specific way.
Laughing alittle, it seemed her flaws had advantages...sometimes. "Maybe..." The other tree they had climbed began to wither alittle for she could only take so many resources from the ground to fashion whatever needbe.
Jumping into his arms was tempting...it would be cute to her, but she didn't want to hassle him. While simply sitting there peacefully, Mayloo began to concentrate on yet another large growth which she had to picture by mind to chart it's growth.
((Wow...my grammer sucks sometimes from slip ups. I think faster then I type))

[I like that school. 3nodding And yeah, I have ascintific graphing calculater. I got one of the cheaper ones...now I know it was cheap. stare Piece of crap.]
Vence watched as the tree withered and returned from the ground, unltimately masking their trail of escape. Just some dug up ground, nothing anyone would care to notice.
"So, I'm assuming by that you're going to try it?" Vence asked, glancing towards her as she rested her head on his shoulder.
[I think a lot faster than I type too. I just pay more attention to what I'm typing. whee ] (heads up, Zevach will be coming back soon!)

((I just have a $10 scientific, it's fine but it doesn't graph. Whatever, cheapy is better to me xD ))
The tree trunk curves upwards while a branch curved downwards towards the ground so that it sort of resembled a cresent. Oh course there were the random branches with sprouts of leaves, but she made sure to restrict the growth any further of the willow tree. They had smooth bark.
"Maybe...I should be able to trust my self after all..." She laughed nervously. "I just hope I don't slip" Hugging Vence, Mayloo sat up and crawled over to the roof's edge to look at the tree. "I hope you welcome sliders" Fixing her feet onto the tree just right, she made sure to keep her knees up so that whatever part of her leg showed, wasn't hurt by the bark. "Here I go!"
The rest of her had been placed upon the trunk and down she slid. It was fun actually, not scary at all. Funnier thing was, the tree really wasn't necessary. The curved at the end stopped her from going any further as she got up and off the tree fixing her clothes alittle. "Your turn!"
(( >.< I do sometimes. lol, I read it the way I want to see it. OK! I should bring Sphinx back again...))

[Just got my schedule today. good classes, I say. switching out of two for my own safety. whee No AP classes after all. Going for honors instead. That would make four honors classes. 3nodding ]
"You should always trust yourself," Vence said, as she prepared to slide down, testing her newest creation. He had to smile, struggling to hold back laughter, It really was funny looking. It made it difficult to believe it would work, but, as Mayloo slid down with ease, she proved it was quite safe.
Only a few seconds had passed, and now it was his turn. It would be just a little bit more difficult for him. One, he had luggage, and armor would be a problem with drawing attention from the sound.
The first problem was easily solved. Shrugging he slipped off his bag and sent it down the slide. Just before he had, he pulled out his cloak. Wrapping it around hi upper body, it easily covored the armor. As for his feet and lower legs...well, he could always hold them up and use them for breaks.
glad that was solved easily enough, he slid down with no problems, coming to a stop at the very end. Hopping off to land soundly on his feet. he removed the cloak, shoving it into the bag. Maybe in a few weeks, he would need it. Right now, it still felt like summer.
"Well, that was fun," he commented, smiling as he looked back towards the city. he glanced over to the main gates, not surprised to see no gaurds. They would be inside if they were looking for a suspect (or suspects). In short, they were free to go with nothing stopping them.

((Lol, all my classes are honors except electives of course. So...that would make it 4 honors class too. Shweet))
Vence might've found her attempt funny, but his attempt was even more entertaining since he had to think so much about a simple slide. His bag came first, and then himself after adjusting clothes. "Was it fun?"
When he stepped off, she allowed the tree to begin wilting, even though it hurt her to do so. Unfortunantly if it didn't go now, the dry season would finish it off instead. "Man I'm tired." Mayloo mentioned before Vence got ready again.
She smiled at Vence got he found it entertaining. "Well that's good, but I think a boat ride will be much more nicer." Offering her hand out, she was ready to go.
