Hael shuddered, breif flashbacks of the nightmare coming back when Deras mentioned her.
"Still.. lets not give him reasons to change his mind.. My month's not up yet."  

[Zahzi]

"I can assure you he's not going to do the same thing..." Deras said with a groan.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Right, right. And my Dad DIDN'T abandon me when I was three years old, and I HAVEN'T been dumped on a different doorstep every month for the past 13 years, and there also ISN'T a large demon living inside me that can eat you two, and some freak DIDN'T try to kill me last night." Hael said sarcastically, before turning around and heading for the door again.  

[Zahzi]

"But did anyone make sure you didn't get hurt before?"  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"For the first couple of weeks when they loved me, yes. Then they stopped caring. And I didn't exactly have strange women trying to kill me before."

Omazige suddenly walked out from the back and out the door, cracking the joints of his neck. The time he was usually up was now.

"Morning." Hael greeted with a closed eye smile, trying to act like the previous conversation she was having with Deras didn't happen.  

[Zahzi]

"Morning." Omazige said, looking over at her before stepping outside, looking up at the sky, before the two new holes in the cliff...One his, and one of the woman.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"..Nice holes.." Hael nervously, not sure what else to say about them as she stood in the doorway.  

[Zahzi]

He then looked over at the new clearing near the house caused by the shockwave.

"...I take it the fight was pretty bad...?"  

[Zahzi]

"Yeaaah...Though this will work." Omazige said, picking up one of the fallen trees and dragging it to the center.

"...What are you doing..?" Hael asked, watching him curiously.

"Two things: One, getting the debris out of the way. Two, making a frame for a new bed." Omazige answered, walking behind the house and bringing out a hatchet. Had he just snapped the tree with brute force, it was liable to break unevenly.

"Oh.." Hael replied bluntly, following behind at a safe distance as not to get batted away by the tree. "I take breaking it with your bare hands is to hard..?" She asked, nodding to his hatchet.

Meanwhile...

"...I'll give you a cookie." Kagu offered, stuck in the middle of an argument with another demon.

"Do it yourself! I ain't telling Recht about your failure!"

"..I'll give you TWO cookies.."
