"Mist shinobi . . . ?" Rini breathed, eyes wide. People from their own village had done that. "But -- that's horrible! Why would they do such a thing? It makes no sense! That's -- despicable!" Her hands curled into fists, shaking slightly. Aki flapped his wings slightly and then soared off her arm to land on the dojo roof. "I'd never imagine that our own people would -- but if it was the Mist that was responsible, then why would you join us?" she asked suddenly, turning to him. "Don't you hate the Mist for doing that? Why didn't you go somewhere else?"

Soinc looked back over his shoulder to see Tenkai watching him intently.Sonic slowly turned back to the clone and watched it perform the next jutsu.Sonic was amazed as he saw the repulse effect of the jutsu pushing away the kunai coming at him.Sonic smiled as he began to practice forming the hand signs being extra careful not to let his chakra seep into them.After a few minutes Soinc performed the hand signs after throwing 7 cards and manipulating the air currents to change the path they were on and instead head straight at Sonic.At the last second Sonic released his chara homing to cause a repulse effect but in the end the 7 cards ended up cutting his arms and his face slightly.

Sonic grinned as he ran his hand over each cut he had just gained.As the blood dripped from his hand to the ground he made a bloodly hand print on his pants wiping off the blood.He then moved slowly to pick up his 7 cards as he prepared himself to try again.He took a deep breath throwing the cards and changeing their path to come at him.At the last second Sonic performed the hand signs releasing his chakra all around himself.The cards instantly flew back to the ground indicating that it was a success.

Sonic slowly picked up his 7 cards placing them back into his deck.He slowly movved in front of the next clone.He watched the clone perform the jutsu.He and another clone began to focus their wind chakra into a spirialing ball.After a few seconds it was complete and the clones threw the ball of chakra into one of the previous clones causing the clone to gain massive cuts across his chest where he got hit.Sonic was amazed at the jutsu which he used as his drive.Sonic practiced the hand signs with another clone for a few minutes before moving on.

Sonic and his wind clone both took a deep breath as they began to focus their chakra into a ball like Saotomes clones had done.It took a few minutes for Sonic to gain control of the ball of chakra and keep it stable.After a good amount of chakra was focused into it his clone vanished and Sonic threw the ball as hard as he could at the wall.Upon impact with the wall midsized slashes covered that portion of the wall.The ball wasn't as powerful as Sonic had hoped but he got it and that's all that mattered.

Sonic slowly wandered out onto the porch with Tenkai as they sat down silently.Tenkai layed his scythe across his lap along with Tenketsou,and Sonic studied them both carfully as he pulled out a deck of cards as shuffled them between his hands,which usually calmed him down but this time it was making him anxious.

Neo answered her again like spitting out words "They did because I am like a monster to everyone here. Everyone after that also believed that I could've killed my own parents for that matter. She loved me, but our love was seen as an abomination." Neo stopped and breathed in heavily.

He then looked at the sky again, not wanting to see his own reflection, and answered "I joined this village because it is my home. I was born here and have always been here. Even if I am hated, or judged, this is my home."

He then paused for a bit as the wind blew again, and more leaves dropped. He watched them as they slowly dropped, and with no thought in mind he answered "I do feel hatred... hatred to Konoha and Kirigakure shinobi... I feel hatred to everyone who looks down at me. The only one who has my trust completely at all times is my loyal pet, Sammy." He thoughtfully looked up at the sky and clouds, feeling hollow inside as he told these things.

"You are not a monster," Rini snapped, turning on Neo. "I don't believe it and don't you dare believe it, either. The real monsters are the closed-minded idiots that dared to believe you're anything but human -- just like any of us. So what if your family has some kekkei genkai of some sort that appears to be a sort of curse! That doesn't make you any less human." She flung a hand to one side angrily. "The Uchiha have red eyes, but do you hear people calling them demons? No. They're valued for their bloodline trait, so why shouldn't you? Your curse could be useful -- reigned in and turned into a blessing."

The genin crossed her arms over her chest, shaking her head and scowling. "Hn. People can be idiots when faced with something new and unknown -- especially if they keep such closed minds and aren't willing to learn and grow." She sighed softly, shoulders dropping. "You don't have to think you're so alone, Neo . . . You're not anymore."

Neo looked down again, looking at her reflection in the pond. He answered vaguely "The Uchiha... sometimes I wish I had that kekkei genkai. Then I wouldn't have to live in this nightmare." as his throat even hurt at this moment. A flower's petal fell on his nose, and with a short blow, it got off his face. Neo seemed to not find anything to say for what she said, but he answered the only thing he could "I know what my mark is capable of... makes sense why they call us monsters. It even scares me..."

He looked at the pond vaguely again, looking at his own reflection, and said "No I have never really been alone. Before you and Saotome sensei, my parent's souls kept on living through Sammy. He looked for food, and took care of me, even with such a small body. Now that I at least have 2 more people. It's more than enough to make me feel better." as he smiled a bit at his own reflection.

He wandered his mind around the surroundings saying "Life is so fragile. Like that petal. At any time it can fall, and the flower will feel emptier without that part it lost."

Saotome had arrived at his house. He was busy thinking about everything that was going on. He really didn't know what to think of everything that went on in the Market. Life was just too short for someone to want to be so mad and lose control. Life just needed to be so far up the path of trying to figure out what was going on inside of Neo's head.

He had arrived at the Dojo, meeting Rini and Neo.

"Well, quite the interesting display of friendship dont you say Rini and Neo? And Neo...."He looked down, hurt."You don't trust me Neo........"

Rini jumped slightly and turned to face Saotome, clasping her hands quickly behind her back. "Sensei! I thought you were still asleep . . . " She shifted, glancing between Saotome and his 'son' and chewing on her lower lip. "We're teammates," she replied to his comment about friendship. "He hasn't done anything to warrant me not being his friend. Besides, I'm a medic in training. If I can't help my teammate, then how can I expect to help anyone else?"

Luna sat in a nearby tree peeling an apple with a small knife. She watched the display and smiled, thinking to herself "Im glad for her..she mad a new friend."

Aki trilled, swooping down to land on a branch above Luna and calling Rini's attention to the woman. Rini brightened slightly. "Ah! Luna-sensei!" The girl jogged over to stand below the branch, looking up at her teacher. She cocked her head slightly to one side. "Is that really you or just a clone?" She was not sure how long her teachers would be taking their honeymoon -- and she doubted that they had returned quite yet, but it could not hurt to ask.

Tenkai stood up hearing Saotomes voice."Excuse me Sonic i must be going now."With that Tenkai placed the scythe back across his back and placed Tenketsou back into his belt as he walked over to Saotome."Excuse me,may I have a word with you."

At the same time Sonic nodded his head to Tenkai as he continued his meditation.

Tenkai took a deep breath before clearing his throat to speak."My sensei told me to find you inorder to take the test to see if i can become a genin."

The clone did not turn her hear but took a bite of the apple on her knife and said "In time, you will be able to tell whether I am a clone" she got up and jumped down from the tree "or the real me. But for now I will tell you that I am just a clone Rini-chan."

Neo saw Saotome sensei by looking at the reflection in the water, and answered him, looking at Saotome's reflection "So you heard us? If you did, then you should know I trust only 2 people, and my pet. No one else."

He put his clothe back on along with his hoodie, and hid his hands in his pockets again. This time he faced Saotome sensei, and said "Hmm... friendship.... That was basically the only display of friendship I've had, so yeah. You've also been the only display of fatherhood in some few years."

Rini gave a soft laugh, rubbing the back of her neck. "Ah, right. It's all in the chakra signature, right? I'll have to work on that." She smiled at the clone, attempting to act as calm and composed as she could -- despite recent discussions and occurrences -- and voices. "So, how are you -- or your original, I guess -- enjoying your honeymoon?" the genin asked.
